The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Jamie Foxx IS Electro - Part 4

Hmmm, well lets see....there have been many films, including the first 4 Spidey film, that had much destruction, and yet, we saw no one actually get killed. Hmmm. Even Stan Lee manage to save a few from death.

Either you sir are what you accuse me of or you seen the film, in order to be so sure. So I ask you again, how was it? Otherwise, you are full of assumptions.........like everyone else. Stop acting like you have seen the film.

We have never seen destruction in a Spidey film that was on the same level. And it is pretty obvious that Electro is outright attacking people. Irregardless of whether or not he succeeds, that is his intention. This is an assumption that is quite justifiable after seeing the trailers, unlike yours which is your belief that his birthday is the primary motivation for his actions as Electro.

I think this time around Spidey is not going to be able to save everyone during a rampage, which will be a turning point for his "being Spidey is awesome" mindset he currently has. Not like with Cap. Stacy, but tihs time multiple being getting murdered in front of him or something.

Electro is simply too powerful for him. As Marc said, he is God-like. All of that destruction in times square… oh man!

Dude....are you just punch drunk....you are blatantly full of assumption...I saying what was stated by the actors themselves, what we see in the trailers. I haven't seen anyone get killed in the trailers, no actor/actress have said innocent bystanders get killed. Where is the justification on your part?

You just don't get....you tell others to "stop acting like they've seen the picture" and that exactly what you're doing.

Excuse me, but are YOU drunk? Surely we don't get to see anyone getting killed, but we CLEARLY see Electro attacking Times Square. What is wrong with you?

Let me get a swig of that juice you're drinking, and lets just call it a day.......cheers.

We see him attacking police cars, buildings are collapsing, and he is shooting bolts of electricity at people who are running scared. Have anything else to add?

OMG...I see dead people! Many standing up like.......Zombies.

I guess Electro is just shooting electricity at people because he felt like sharing. He must have very good intentions. :o

Even assuming you are excluding villains of various types, Green Goblin killed a whole bunch of people in the first movie. Did you forget his "disintegrator grenade"?

GG also tried to kill MJ and a group of children on a tram car. Irregardless of whether or not the villain succeeds, the argument here is the intention behind his actions.

The whole point I was trying to make is that something drove Max to the point that made him try and kill people with his powers. Him being electrocuted and turned into a live human generator is a traumatic experience, so its possible that this is what brought him over the edge.

Getting ignored, pushed around, having ideas stolen, and his mom forgetting his birthday all add up to years of misery, and the accident with the electric eels certainly was the last straw. There is still something else that he does to make him feel "betrayed" by Spider-Man, so I wonder what that was.

Sharing the juice......Huh. Nope, assumptions is by ps.... I said nothing about other villains. Hell Ock killed a medical staff. This guy who saw the film, said many people die in the destruction, and even showed three stills for support. I'm just quoting the very said actor.

But, this thread has digress, so I suggest moving on, we don't need anymore assumptions. ;)

I guess my drunken self only imagined Electro shooting electricity at a crowd of people. Its not like its in the TRAILER, and I'm using that to back myself up. Seriously, you have run out of things to say. You are arguing for the sake of arguing at this point.

The actor (Jamie Foxx) also said that he does something that Spider-Man does not approve of, and eventually feels betrayed by him.

Lets see....Peter is bitten by a cross-genetic spider, personality remained the same, Connors injected himself with cross-genetic lizard serum, personality remained the same, but Max fall in a vast of cross-genetic eels, and he is traumatically altered personality wise, yet we see no evidence of that, other than Sisko here saying he got to have some traumatic affect for him to just go over the edge toward Spidey after thinking Spidey is his best Pal. Not what the actor said himself of Spidey shunning him and his mother forgetting his birthday.....awwww.

OK

You really have no idea of what you're talking about, and its so laughable. I love the examples you use to prove me wrong… so weak. I won't bother with you anymore, because you clearly don't understand a thing, and this is a big waste of time. Good day, sir!

I think that some people have trouble grasping the fact that just because we don't SEE people die, doesn't mean that they DIDN'T die. We don't need to see graphic onscreen deaths to know that it happened, you just have to look at the scenario and it becomes obvious. When Sandman is rampaging through downtown NYC in SM 3, smashing cop care, regulars cars, throwing cars around, crashing into building, etc, people obviously died or were maimed. He's doing this is in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world in the middle of the day with tens of thousands of people around. I'm sorry, but there WERE casualties, whether we saw deaths or not. It's obvious to anyone who looked at the situation objectively. When the Chitauri were flying around NYC blowing crap up at random in Avengers, people died, whether we saw it or not. Electro causing buildings to crumble and rampaging through Time Square firing electricity at random is going to kill some people, it's inevitable. I can confidently say that as someone who's been to Time Square at night and seen how crowded it gets.

It would hilarious if it was like the old A-Team tv show in which no one ever died despite numerous shoot outs, car chases and explosions.

As long as they don't go that retconned Hulk route where they say he's always subconsciously avoided causing casualties during his rages.

Yeah, that retcon was both stupid and makes no sense if you think about it.

Even accidentally the hulk would kill people. Most superheroes kill people by accident. The amount of comics that involve some supervillain 'falling off a roof' during a superhero fight that in most courts around the world would result in at least manslughter charges.

A good reason why superheroes should remain fictional and not real as these people running as superheroes in the real world are either going to get themselves killed or arrested for killing or hurting someone else.

i.e. The Incredibles.

I can't wait to see electro's character play out on film.

I think people simplify it too much by saying he turns evil because his mom forgot his bday and spidey doesn't accept him. Max has been pushed around his entire life, and now he has god like powers. To me, this can make for some very compelling drama in a superhero flick, and I think foxx has the ability to really make you sympathize with max before the transformation and then be terrified of him after when he's truely lost it.

This is gon be goooood.
