Jared Leto IS The Joker - - - Part 12

It's funny seeing people talk about Lex Luthor...

In that last scene of his, in prison, at first when he entered his cell and the lights went out, I thought it was going to be Amanda Waller who appeared to tell him about Task Force X.

I don't know how they'd do it, but I'd be all for having Lex Luthor show up in the film just so that he and Joker could share screentime. That for me is as cool as Batman and Superman sharing the screen.

When that last scene happened with Lex in prison and the lights went out, I thought Joker was going to show up, although I guess that wouldn't make much sense on how he got in, but I thought maybe the movie would end with Joker telling Lex about a plan that he had to take out Batman and the screen would go dark with Joker laughing

that would have been werid

According to Snyder, a young Joker killed Robin about 10 years before BvS.

This was my thought too after seeing BVS. Joker would be dead somewhere in a ditch if Batman was this stone-cold killer everyone claims. I think giving him back his humanity at the end was great - but damn the damage has already been done. Isn't that Joker's entire existence to tempt Bats into killing.

//If Joker is Jason Todd (God please no) then that would take away from a REDHOOD Solo film unless they completely changed it up

It may be that Leto's Joker was killed by Batman and revived later by Ra's Al Ghul's Lazarus Pits.

Will it be in the rumoured directors cut, is what I'm wondering?

There's no indication they ever shot a scene like that. If you meant as a mention, then that's possible.

I wouldn't be shocked if Batman killed the Joker and its Enchantress who brings him back.

That thing in the Subway looks like him.

LMAO, you people... Do you know why there's only so much SS members? The rest are killed by Batman.

“The work that’s been done on this character by so many people before me has been so impactful, so incredible, so much fun, so profound, so risky, that it’s a very special thing to be asked to take on that responsibility," Leto told Entertainment Weekly.
Perhaps the most famous iteration of the Joker was his last portrayal by Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight. Leto knew before filming the upcoming Suicide Squad that he was going to put his own tattooed, crazy-eyed spin on the Joker that fans know and love.
"Whether you’re a composer working on a piece of music that was written a century ago, or you’re an actor on stage, reinterpreting a play, it’s very common these days. Directors take on great works of cinema, actors reinterpret roles, that’s been going on for a great deal of time," he said to EW. “It a weighty thing to do. But it’s exciting. The Joker is one of those roles. He was written brilliantly when he was first shared with the world...I’m just really grateful I had the opportunity.”

This is one of the most iconic movie villains of all time. I would feel honored if somebody offered me the role. I hope Suicide Squad continues the tradition of great movies featuring this character.

If Leto nails this role then WB needs to do whatever necessary to get that solo Batman film rolling. Batfleck vs. Leto's Joker could be amazing.

I like his humble attitude towards such a massive role

Near the end of it, Conan asked Ben Affleck to share his thoughts on Jared Leto's version of The Joker, since they filmed scenes together for David Ayer's Suicide Squad movie. Affleck wouldn't go into details but did provide plenty of praise for the Oscar-winning actor.

#BenAffleck on his #Batman's #Joker, #JaredLeto- "He's a genius. Brilliant. Masterful. Brilliant, brilliant guy."

mark my words. when the movie is out you all will like the teeth. it will change how Leto pronounces words. because they are so thick the lips will have to move over the them when he talks and it will look very creepy in close up shots.

going through old posts...and this has me hyped too.

Honestly, the teeth never bothered me. The tattoos are categorically overkill, but I was always pretty confident whatever Leto was going to do with the role would transcend it all.

There's only one tattoo that came anywhere close to being a deal breaker for me.

I'm sure you can guess which one.

Believe it or not I'm starting to get used to the grills.

i noticed when he says, "my toys" line. He DOES sound alot different. If the caps change his way of speaking that makes me love them even more.

The tat on his forehead used to bother me waaay at the beginning of his reveal. Now I think its part of the joke, considering he's more than likely a drug lord (poisoned of course). Nightclubs, guns, etc.
