Just go into any BvS thread, and people are doing the same with Snyder, or when Jeremy Renner made a joke about Black Widow, etc.

It really is stupid. People these days want to rage over anything, to the point where you'd think anyone in the spotlight (actors, directors, athletes, etc.) would just avoid saying or doing ANYTHING that might be controversial. And yet if they don't, people accuse them of being bland, corporate tools who just make canned statements and such. It's a no-win situation.
