But in all seriousness, like someone just said, throw a suit on him and he looks just fine. All I'm worried about is the acting. A lot of people thought Heath would do a crappy job and look what happened.

Leto is as method as they come. He's going to really throw himself into the role.

The thing about this non-permawhite joker (with Leto and Ledger) is it's almost scarier that they go OUT OF THEIR way to put on make-up.

We don't know that he's not permawhite yet. Unless it's been announced that he won't be.

Just because he doesn't have pancake neon white make-up on doesn't mean he isn't permawhite in the movie.

He's whiter here in this photo than his normal skintone so he's clearly got stark white skin.

You guys realize that if Leto-Joker puts on a purple suit, it'll cover those tattoos and he'll look "classic" right? He won't be walking around shirtless all the time.

Yes. Which is why I've said like 3 times that the only one that REALLY bothers me is the forehead tattoo, which is just dumb.

But given the choice, I'd rather no tattoos at all and then he'd look pretty perfect.

I certainly think this Joker will be putting on make-up and will cover some of his face tattoos.

But, PLOT TWIST, he's doing it because he's undergoing rehab. So we might see the joker's face covered at the beginning.

I'm pretty sure this is Ayer's take on permawhite. I don't imagine we'll be seeing makeup.

Glad I'm not alone. I like "real world" takes a lot when it comes to translating comics to screen. I think it's great that the base and history is there and then it can be grown and adapted to fit today.

In all honesty the tattoos are more than likely not going to be seen al that much, the one on the forehead is distracting.

Leto is as method as they come. He's going to really throw himself into the role.

After seeing this pic I cannot wait to see what Leto does, I get a VERY strong feeling that Leto is going to make Ledger and Nicholson's Jokers look mentally stable.
