No, I'm not assuming that. I'm specifically talking about this image, not how he will look in the movie. This was the original comment I made about the expression:

They could have at least had him do the Joker smile in the pic. It would have eased some of the shock

I don't know know how I feel about the look they're going with for the Joker, but if they had done this promotion image with a more Joker-esque expression than I would have been able to form a better opinion. I'll judge how he looks in the movie when the time comes, but this image is all we have to go by until then.

He won't? No Nicholson's perma smile or Ledger's Glasgow, that's kinda obvious. He'll have a laugh, just not perma.

The only thing i don't like is the "damaged" tattoo. Like others have said, Joker wouldn't label himself in such a way. Even if it's an ironic thing it's kinda dumb.

I like the other tattoos though and i like the vibe they are going for. His "grill" is obviously because he's had his teeth punched out by Batman a few times lol

It's a shame, because they actually got the pale skin exactly right for once!

The only thing that bothers me are the face tattoos. Take those away and I would be happy with the aesthetics.

almost perfect to me for a new franchise.

but i dont like the word damaged on his forehead. because thats the only tattoo that will be always visible when he has the suit on.
