Jared Leto IS The Joker - Part 4

hahaha, playing cards, a smile, a skull with a jester hat doesn't have any connection to the past 75 years of the Joker?

I mean some crucial moments like Gordon, Todd... Something more clear. Like Henry Claridge instead of damaged would make more sense if it was something special for his 75th birthday.

i've been wanting to make this joke since leto was first cast :

So tatts aside, I'm a tad disappointed they didn't go for some prosthetics to alter his face.

Now what I'm talking about would have been *subtle*. To the point where you might not conciously realize they're there, but would think "huh, he looks more Jokery in the makeup than I was expecting". A nose tip and minor chin enhancement. Absolutely nothing outside of regular human facial features, but just enough to give him more of that Bolland Joker look. Because as great as Leto's facial structure is, he doesn't quite have that angular look. And his cute little button nose is quite un-Jokery especially.

But given the possibility of the tattoos I'd be happy with just them gone and count my blessings.

You're kinda reaching on your reasoning here, I'm not saying Grey is correct, but ruling out the tats as a 75th anniversary thing based on this conjecture alone seems out there.

2006 MySpace called, it wants its Marilyn Manson cosplay back. :whatever:

This look is terrible. Laughable.

Such a shame, too ... Because I think casting Jered Leto was a brilliant move. I hope he wears a suit for most of the movie.

Did people really immediately think that was an "official" look? As soon as I saw it with the "Hahaha", Joker smile tattoo, flipping "dead Robin" tattoo in reference to killing Robin and then "Damaged" right smack down on the forehead, I thought, "Oh for Joker 75th" It didn't cross my mind that that would be an official look.

Right, we can't be sure one way or the other. The jury is still out, IMO.

This "marketing" that you speak of solely consists of posting a photo to Twitter. If Ayer (or Snyder) decided to share a new photo of his actual look, it would be shared just as much as the last photo.

Plus, when did Ayer say "this is the definitive look of the Joker"? All he said was happy birthday to the character.

But people now think this is the final look so makes just no sense to change that...

Ayer is probably pissing himself at these reactions.

So yeah WB just wanted to toy with fans... Great logic.

And then people will forget this look and talk about the actual look. It's not that hard.

Ayer is probably passing himself at these reactions.

He probably is, regardless of whether this is the actual look or not. If it's fake, he'll have a good laugh because of the needless outrage. If it's real, he'll have a good laugh because he knows what he's got with Leto.

I think you need to add a - after the date in your avvy. It's clearly still ongoing. :hehe:

I'm not for or against on that subject, I'm saying that your logic on that tattoos is faulty, nice little straw man attempt to avoid my point though.

If this isn't official then surely someone like Ayer would habe tweeted something by now? I mean they say there is no such thing as bad publicity, but still...

The fact is all these promo photos look bad. Always.
