People keep forgetting Joker is flamboyant. Rappers are also flamboyant. Joker would be at a gay pride parade marching along with them and then two minutes later gunning down everyone on the sidelines watching.

It's not about the money, it's abooout.....wait no, I need a new grill, a few more rings, I gotta get 3-4 of my tats brushed up on. I also can't be looking like a slob while I'm in da club dancing. Also, I have to put those neon lights on my car that I saw in Tokyo Drift. Plus, I have that coke habbit. Ummm, yeah, it's about the money.

Lil J is just rocking that cash money, young money lookz.

Take it eazy. Jokernucchi babby!

LOL

There's different kinds of flamboyance. Just like saying he's crazy doesn't mean he'd commit the crazy act of any type of insane person. Joker has never had a rapper's style of flamboyance. It doesn't suit him at all, IMO.

Is anyone else reminded of Ace when looking at this Joker pic?

That's Greg Capullo tweeting when he was doing the #BatmanChat.

Yeah and DC comics are a whole other division from WB and its film division. I doubt they are much more privy to info than anyone else.

Here's the hoodie he'll be wearing when's he's in a smart/casual mood. :o

I think Joker cares about money enough. :csh:

What if his belly tattoo is SWAGG ? :hehe: He is pretty fly for a white guy though.

DC Comics official twitter said it was a joke =\

If you're referring to the tweet where the account said they "Heard it was just a troll," then I can't imagine why anyone would take that seriously. That account is no doubt run by a mid-level marketing employee for DC Comics, who would be so far removed from the film part of WB's business in the corporate structure that they might as well not be working for WB at all. They would be extremely unlikely to have any special knowledge of the production, and the tweet is presented as hearsay anyway, probably gathered from some rumour blog.

Or, simply put: I work for a corporation that runs many different types of businesses (much like Warner Bros.). I don't know a damn thing about any of them, except the one I immediately work on. I guarantee the same is true of whoever posts to DC's social media.

I mostly find myself laughing at the new look.

I'm sure Leto will win everyone over with his performance - I'm sure we all remember the first reactions to seeing Heath Ledger's 'Joker' look.

I do think, however, that after giving us the most comic accurate Batman to date WB would have give us the most comic accurate Joker to compliment him.

They pretty much have. It's sad how Leto looks SO MUCH like The Joker in so many respects, and all people can do is whine about the barely noticeable tattoos. His mannerisms are perfect...he looks like a dapper, murderous ghoulish clown. I cannot wait.

I'm afraid those metal teeth are going to be very distracting. Hopefully they don't look super awkward in his mouth the whole time.

I never doubted that Leto could do a great Joker. I'm just worried that the odd costume choices will take away from his performance.

I feel sure we will see that in a Batman "solo" movie.

Fortunately, tattoo removal and realistic dentures actually exist.

They could just so easily remove these features at the director's choosing in any sort of sequel.

Really? From one scene you know what his entire wardrobe for the movie is?

Aren't The Joker's teeth SUPPOSED to draw attention?

They certainly make his mouth pop.

They're a lot more reflective than the official photo let on.

If a costume takes away from a performance, it's not a performance worth much in the first place.
