I've seen it this once, and I think it's hilarious.

I love all the tattoos.. so edgy!!

I've put together an image of what I think Magneto would look like if he'd been reimagined by the same creative team.

I added the Swastica so you know that he's evil straight by looking at him.

In this movie universe. We know (or at least can assume) he tortures Harley Quinn.

I'm not so sure. It does look like it from the trailer, however, Harley CHOSE to become Harley Quinn because she fell in love with the Joker after he fed her sob stories and made her sympathise with him. He didn't force her through torture. Her falling in love with him after he tortures her wouldn't makes sense.

If he tortured her under the disguise that he was freeing her from the confines of morality etc, then you could see how Harley might interpret that as a romantic gesture. However, the line "I'm just gonna hurt you really really bad" seems to contradict that line of thought.

I think it's going to look like the Joker will torture Harley but then he changes course at the last minute and probably kills/maim someone else which is then why Harley takes a romantic interest in him because in her view he saved her or whatever.

I could be wrong with the above but I hope not. The foundation of Harley's character is that she fell in love with the Joker then CHOSE to be his accomplice. If they take away her choice then they lose an important aspect of the Harley character.

Yeah, he could just be testing her loyalty in that moment. We have no way of knowing at this point.

My guess is that it'll show the Torture scene flashback of Joker "creating" Harley near the start.

Since then Harleys been doing her own loopy thing and when she's involved here she hates joker for what he did and everyone sees a big beef between them.

But at the end [Puts on M. Night Shyamalan voice] she betrays them all and it turns out that she's actually in love with the joker for doing it and "freeing" her bla bla,

Isn't Magneto supposed to hate the Nazis? Surely they basically represent everything he hates about humanity.

You should write for The Big Bang Theory. :o

It's how far we've fallen.

Mags basically IS a Nazi though. In fact that's why making Luna empowered was a bad move. Magneto needed to have the fact that he would create a world where his own granddaughter would experience what happened to his parents and immediate family pushed in his face. Magneto's world view and Nazism actually go hand in hand, that's the truth that he won't ever admit to.

This post is basically "I hate the tattoos so I'm going to try and be funny and make a joke exaggerating it. To show just how much I hate it." Dumb and fail.

I think Harleys beef with Joker might stem from her being captured in the flashback scene by Batman. Maybe Joker abandons her to be taken in by Batman rather than stay and be caught with her. Just a hunch, but we don't really know much about the sequence of events yet.

I wanna see fear in the eyes of the SS anytime people mention the Joker. The thought of other super-villains and meta-humans being frightened by Joker is something we haven't seen in any other Batman live-action movie. Could make for a truly intimidating Joker indeed...

I think the key there is Deadshot. He really should be a pro's pro. A hired killer for top dollar with ice in his veins... But even he's like, "The Joker is a scary mofo."

I like this idea. This could easily be the case considering the Joker isn't shown to be with the main group. I'm sure they all know that he isn't one to hold allegiances with any predictability.

It reminds me of a very fitting quote from TDK:

Maroni (after batman throws him off a fire escape to get info): "They're wise to your act. You got rules. The Joker? He ain't got no rules. Nobody's gonna cross him for you."

It's a reminder that not all villains are loons and even they know which people are truly capable of anything.
