Uhm what?
Come on. I hate Batman but even I loved Batman Begins and TDK. I watch both like more than twice.
How can you hate Batman?

We've been listening to the very same thing from TDK fans for four years now. Why does it count for one and not the other?
Hate is too strong a word. I am indifferent towards him. Funny thing is I love all his supporting characters, but I don't really care much about him.

Its likely going to be Barry Allen though.
Wally West would be better to have for a movie. Having Barry Allen would make all the personalities too serious. We already have rather serious types in Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and I don't imagine Martian Manhunter cracking any jokes.

I agree. Besides, The Avengers is a great superhero movie, but some people will never give it enough credit because apparently it isn't dark or deep enough for them. I hope TDKR will do well, but TA is extremely deserving of its enormous and record-breaking success.
Avengers is a good movie, but it seemed to lean towards a "younger audience" at times in my opinion (and you mentioned that). But not only that, I'm sure TDKR will be awesome. I'm just a little disappointed that it's the end to the series.. Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Mr. Penguin, The Riddler, all would've been great for DK movies.
You should've known by now that Chris Nolan simply won't allow certain villains in his Batman movies; villains that are too fantastical and not grounded enough to fit within his ultra-realistic setting. Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, and The Penguin are ones that would look out-of-place next to Christian Bale's Batman. The Riddler may not be, but then again they already had The Joker, so having Riddler would've seen like a rethread of an old villain.
I saw somewhere recently that Nolan was thinking of casting Leo DiCaprio as the Riddler. Don't know how serious that was.
hal is more like pine's kirk if anything imo not a jokester but charismatic and sarcastic that will be comedic at timesIs Hal Jordan really that much of a jokester? He's more of the reckless type, which is why Batman doesn't care for him all that much. Wally is fun loving, but is more of the heart of the team. He doesn't just jump into **** like Hal does.

JJ Abrams could be the guy to direct Justice League. He comes from television, (just like Joss Whedon, and look at the success that dude got with Avengers). Abrams has a sense for ensemble flics. Star Trek was really good. I'm sure WB would trust the guy.
But if we want a more heavy and dramatic touch, call the guy behind LOTR trilogy and King Kong.
No but Warner Brothers trying to copycat less than a month after release says it is.
