Oh that's right, I forgot box office equate to being ground braking. Dah.![]()

Ah, the old playing down the quality of TDK and Batman Begins argument. Never get tired of hearing that.
BO record breaking occurs usually due to a movie breaking ground in one form or another making people come and see the movie to witness the event. Never before in my knowledge has 4 movies been made about different characters just to team them up in a joint movie experience. It was a resounding success.
If you noticed in my comments I stated that Batman Begins, TDK were great movies. The only thing I might disagree with you is that I doubt BMB or TDK will go down in cinema history as a "classic" to non-superhero fans in the same fashion Superman the Movie did. Bale played as Bat-Man, Reeves was Superman. The comment that the BMB and TDK both required multiple viewing I felt was unfounded. 6th Sense, Memento now those movies required multiple viewings. TDK movies were straight forward. Storyline was great, Acting superb, special effects decent. nothing complex but it really doesn't have to be to be a really entertaining movie.
