Every time I wonder if kids should be listening to some of today's raunchy songs, I think back and remember how I heard "Freak Like Me" so often, I knew all the words. That song came out when I was 10.

Don't forget the classical lyrics that said, "Let me lick you up and down 'til you say stop." Lord knows how we all were singing that as kids.

You know what song I didn't realize was about sex until I was an adult? "Cruisin'" by Smokey Robinson. It's a song from my mother's generation, sure, but I'd heard it so much, I knew all the words. Then one day I was bored and started singing the chorus to that song. Then I started singing the rest of the song, and realized just what was going on. It was like a lightbulb went on.

I remember when I found out that Rick James' "Mary Jane" wasn't about an actual girl. It's funny how naive I was as a kid. I pretty much had the same story about "Cruisin'" too.

I honestly think the bald head thing is what kept them from being a bigger group...they broke up like 10 years ago though.

LOL @ "once-bald"....so true. But you know what? It worked for them. They needed that edge to set them apart from the good number of duos that were also out at the time. Changing Faces were probably the most successful, but you also had Sa-Deuce and a few others.

Probably. I remember a friend of mine once saying "Hey I can like them now" when their second album came out, because their hair was longer.

Sorry LS but SWV ain't but a notch above Jade, they were good, but its been 2 long...damn I was school then lol. Did you ever see the show with lele I think and Eddie George...she came off kinda bad. If the came to the State Fair I would go see them.

The last time I saw any of them was when Lisa Lisa played the mom on Taina. According to Wikipedia, she was supposed to release an album in 2009, but I haven't heard anything about that. Full Force apparently kept themselves busy for a while by working behind the scenes (Wikipedia says they made a hit song for the Backstreet Boys a few years back), as well as making sparse appearances on other people's songs.

Surprisingly, it looks like all members of Full Force are still together. The three that we all know and recognize are brothers, and the rest of the band were cousins.

Yeah they were writing/producing songs for lots of those corny pop groups & acts, including Brittany Spears. Behind the scenes is where the $$$ is anyway.
