Wow. Her mother-in-law needs thicker skin than that. I've heard actual Jewish comedians who lay into their parents and in-laws worse than what Croonquist said. I mean, she said her Jewish in-laws whisper loudly. That's the harshest thing she said. I doubt this old crone could sit through a Mel Brooks movie if that's all it takes for her to call her lawyer.

I'm holding back a few lawyer jokes, myself. Her mother-in-law is suing, her husband is a lawyer... it's basically the set-up for a joke in and of itself.

She could make somewhat of a comeback I guess, but anyone thinking she'll be as big as she once was is fooling him/herself. The music industry has changed drastically since her heyday. The last thing I want to see is her nearly 50 year old ass trying to half rap/sing/autotune her way to a hit, while wearing next to nothing and bumping and grinding with Lil Wayne in a video. Plus her voice was pretty much shot the last time I saw her perform on some award show. She couldn't even finish the song...had one of her background singers do it for her.

The truth is not fun. She's pretty shot on her voice.

I agree, but that can be said about the vast majority of talk show personalities.
