I don't think she was ever really fat. She was on the plus side, but not on the Jill Scott side. She did lose some face weight though. I think it's plastic surgery.

If she did, the surgeon did a pretty good job, 'cause I wouldn't have thought she had any work done.

Wow Keke was looking so fyne in that vid, mmmm thanks for sharing with the class LS

As for Brandy, sounds quite interesting actually. I'll def check it out although i'm not that big on female MC's(not that there's many around right now)

All I'll say to that is Jean Grae is better than the vast majority of males MC's out today. Shawnna is very underrated also IMO.

Keke has been looking good. Are you people just now noticing this?

Yeah Jean Grae is nice. What's funny is that she sounds nothing like the way she raps. I expected a South African accent or some slang. She's pretty damn articulate though. She's also kinda cute.

She always had a body, but the face wasn't hitting like it is now. I remember the one video with Avant called "Nothing In This World." She looked pretty good at the end when she was singing, "If Only You Knew."

Go to this website and download this lady's album. I've been a huge advocate of her, and here is the chance for y'all to hear her greatness for FREE.

If you like female R&B, then you will enjoy this.

Wow, haven't heard about Teedra in years. I loved "Be Your Girl" a few years ago

She's been doing mixtapes for awhile. I think she disagreed with her label in terms of the type of music she should do, so she asked to be released and did the mixtape thing. I remember her saying in an interview that she'd rather do her own music that she loves instead of changing her style to be more mainstream. She's supposed to have had an album coming out called "The Young Lioness" for a few years, but she's released 3 or 4 mixtapes since then.

I don't know what it is exactly about her...I can't put my finger on it. But she looks different. Even her hair is different.

But I agree with my brethren here, she's definitely lost some weight...and retained weight in the right places. :hehe::up:

Love my R&B and Soul. Eric Benet, Robin Thicke, Maxwell are high on rotation these days.

Holy sh**....Monica AND Erykah Badu have new singles out. Anyone peeped them yet?

Is Erykah finally releasing a sequel to her New Amerykah concept album?

Nevermind. I looked it up. Her new single is going to be on New Amerykah Part 2: Return of the Ankh. I can't tell if it's one of her concept songs, or another non-sequitur like "Honey" was on New Amerykah Part 1.

Only seen Badu once, she's one of the few I'd leave the state to go see

Seems like we have fewer and fewer midsize to large touring acts anymore.
I went to a lot of concerts back when, even the few who didn't think bad about comming through Indianapolis, Maxwell's been here a couple times.

Nothin like a Live, national R&B act.
