Since the day they cast Affleck as Batman, I've had this sneaking suspicion that WB was talking to, or going to talk to, Damon about playing Lex Luthor. That suspicion was heightened when the rumor mill churned out that he was considering reprising his role as Jason Bourne, and when he assured us he wouldn't be playing Robin. However, unless they can figure out a way to work his shooting schedule, depending on how big each role is, I'm not sure that that can happen anymore.

I was just joking. I doubt Damon would take the role if ever offered it.

The only person I have a feeling they've really looked at, at least the executives, is DiCaprio considering how "in house" things have been in terms of who's generally involved and that they wanted him as Riddler after Inception was a success for them.

Any other actor, I haven't really given much thought outside of fan casting.

It's CBN. They want good traffic. They appear legit. Most media outlets see that and report this as fact without fact checking CBN's track record.

They've tried it with Dalton ss Alfred now, which hasn't caught on.


Look at the Tyler Hoechlin rumours. ..media reported that too as fact from them and it was the biggest BS out there.
