so i finally watch star trek into darkness and i gotta say i think chris pine could be an interesting choice. quinto as braniac would be awesome but that may be a little like type casting. and cumby, man, i think he would have been an incredible batman.

I'm happy about affleck really, but watching cumberbatch as harrison, I'm totally left wanting. i hope he at least ends up being j'onn.

I'm happy with Affleck as well but I think Cumberbatch has/had the potential to be DC's RDJ: a left field choice turning out te be the ultimate take on the character (or at least the best yet). Everytime I hear his deep, calm incredibly commanding and yet menacing voice I can't help but think that WB/DC turned down the ultimate Batman.

I honestly don't think he'll be in anything DC related but regarding his supposed involvement in Disney's Star Wars, his relationship with JJ Abram's I think he has a fair chance to be on Marvel's radar for Dr Strange.

I just hope I doesn't end up being a typecast vilain like Mark Strong.

Yeah well, he hasn't ... yet.
But all these rumors about him playing a vilain in numerous projects (Star Wars VII being one of those) got me worried. I hope he gets the chance to showcase his entire acting range and doesn't become the next british guy you'll think of as a vilain in every blockbuster.

Does Luthor HAVE to be bald, I don't think so. If they get someone who nails the other facets of Lex's character, then I don't care if he happens to have hair.

I really see no reason that Luthor need's to be bald. In L&C season 1 we had a Lex with hair. It worked. In STAS we had a bald Lex, but his being bald had no relevance to the plot.

It's mostly that Lex's iconic appearance is bald, I'd prefer bald, but if they nail the casting then it would be a non-issue.
