I can see them pulling this as it doesn't really land as a Big Reveal. Too much retreading of the teaser, the vibrancy of what's interspersed doesn't match the grandiosity the ending of Part of Your World is reaching for, and the underwhelming Ursula reveal also just feels plopped in there. A lot to do in 30 seconds and it doesn't quite do anything for the viewer.

The live action bits don’t do anything for me. I want the vibrancy and color saturation of the original animation and not the typical drab digital cinematography in every Disney live action adaptation.

I still have my doubts about the remake but I LOVE the supportive fan artwork on the web depicting Jodi Benson and Halle's Ariel being best friends and such. There's a lot of it.

What is their beef with Colors and life?

This poster would look so good if they would embrace its color...why are they refusing to do that?
I dont get their refusal to embrace the vibe of what they make a live action version off.

There is no vibrancy, no vitality, just gloom. Which is a waste considering how beautiful Halle Bailey is.
