There's "putting a spin" which, when done properly, uses existing character info to create a new twist which does not conflict with the old info about the character (hence, "consistency").
Then there's being a lazy, useless, unskilled hack of a writer and simply ripping apart what you're predecessors did in favor of your own opinion because you're so self-indulgent you don't care about the art form or the fans of the previous writers' work.

It's people who do the latter (like Loeb) that guarantee that comics will never be taken seriously as an art.

Those 'real men' usually have more muscles than those women. That means they have more muscles than the posters in this thread. I've read a rumor about wives cheating on their husbands at those bodybuilding shows.

BTW: what's happening with that Ultimate She-Hulk character in the late Wolverine vs. Hulk? Is that Betty or Jennifer? And how many Ultimates have slept with each other now? Betty and Tony Stark? Typical but no class.

That reminds me of a joke.

This chick takes a Body builder home with her. He strips for her. He takes off his shirt and flexes his muscles. "Bam!! TNT arms!" Then he takes off his pants. "Bam! TNT legs! Then he takes off his Speedo, and the lady jumps out the window. The Body Builder runs all the way down stairs and out the door and catches her before she hits the ground. Definite spoiler regarding the upcoming Ult Wolv vs Hulk #4:

They continue to hint in issue 4 that Ult She-Hulk is Jennifer, but it does turn out to be Betty. So Jennifer was just used to throw us off track.

A little more spoilery yet:
I really enjoyed the comic, but Betty's gotta be schizophrenic or something the way she sometimes does/doesn't care about Bruce and the way that she seems really so self-centered, then is willing to risk taking a virtually untested dose of something and throw away her entire career future in a vague hope to possibly maybe hopefully be able to help Bruce.

You know, strangely I'm actually liking Ultimate Hulk Vs. Wolverine. I have every reason to hate it but i think its pretty good; not too complicated, good characterizations, and this is the best i've ever seen Lienil Yu's artwork. I feel like its an ode to the old days before the Ultimate U went to hell. This is way better than Ultimatum imo.
