Seriously, what happened to Tobiased? I miss his posts/rants.

Well compared to The Lone Rangers already dismal RT rotten score of 16% that makes MOS' score look a hell of a lot better.

You guys gave him too hard a time. I actually thought he was a gentlemen n he never personally attacks anyone even though he was constantly being attacked for having an opinion.

Lol I guess.
I don't think Rotten Tomatoes is always on point with superhero films.
I do not agree with the rating they gave the medicore IM2. I also feel their tallied score of The Hulk was too high as well.
*shrugs*

To HELL with critics! Why are people so hung up with RT rotten scores and critical reception. It should be more to do with the general audience and whether or not characters connect with that said audience. I'm glad I followed this thinking thru with MOS...because imo it was truly an execellent film. Yes, it had imperfections, but what movie hasn't?

Come on, I thought we were above the discussion of RT and its flawed system?

For the most part, I have found RT to be pretty accurate for CBM.

Spidey left because of the constant trolling and dick measuring that's gone on between dc and marvel since MOS has been released. I don't blame her for taking a break. I think the word she used when we talked on Twitter was "pretentious snobs" lol.

Where did she go?

Hopefully, it's because she's busy...

Yes. But every now and then, they don't just get a superhero movie wrong, they get a film in general wrong.
Thou shall never forgive them for giving TAKEN a 58%

Eh, I guess it should have been in the late 60's or something. But who am I to tell 120 critics trained to judge a movie with an analytical eye that their opinions are wrong.

I SEE SPIDEY is a good poster. Hopefully, she'll come back soon.

Sometimes they can be so biased though.
Just because you don't like the choices a character made you give the film a bad review ? If the film decently laid out backstory and development for the character, then you could disagree but why give the whole film a bad review ?
*purely hypothetical*
It's just like when I've read reviews where the critic exclaims how well made and produced the film was, it had beautiful cinematography, it had great actors.
Yes but was the actual character development and story plot that good ? was it up to standard ?
Returns IMO is a well made, nice looking film, but it's story is lackluster and it doesn't have alot of entertainment value. Yet it got good reviews.
Film is so subjective.
Eh.

Generally, RT and critics opinions relating to CBM are completely irrelevant...true comic fans will see there heroes regardless of the number of paragraphs critics will write trying to put week minded people off.

I remember one critic posting a "why the public is getting tired superhero movies" which clearly looked like an agenda to hate MOS after it was given a low score by the same critic.

Equally ridiculous is how this critic imposed his viewpoint on the "public" to rationalize that they shared his/her viewpoint too, when it's likely not even the case.

If RT is to be trusted than Superman Returns should have been more popular.

I'll say it again: this movie will make very well here in Brasil.
BTW, adorocinema.com, which is our biggest movie website, gave MOS 5 stars.

I saw so much Snyder bias. I should have seen this coming. Zack has never been a critic magnet.

True. Irrelevant to comic book fans. But that is only a small fraction of the ga going to watch the movie.

I've seen posts like the above from 'so called critics' umpteen times, and the conclusion I come to is a simple one in relation to CBM...snobbery. The CBM is beneath there high brow sense and sensibilities...completely beneath them.
