Man Of Steel Trailer Crowd Reactions Thread

That just means she doesnt know THE LOTR Trilogy.
It doesnt mean she was "not too bright".

i called ahead to see if it was available at my theater- they said yes, however they did not know which screen it would be shown on

I'm headed to see Oblivion right now. I'll let you guys know of any reactions if any.

Saw Oblivion (meh) in Imax and no MOS trailer attached. (Double Meh!)

thats your first mistake

trailers never get attached to that especially important trailers
They do with digital IMAX. And tbh, they often do with real IMAX too, as long as they can fit them on the platter (in other words, as long as the IMAX movie itself isn't pushing 3hrs long...).

Yeah, The Dark Knight Rises was the only IMAX movie I've ever attended, in real IMAX and Digital, that didn't have trailers. It did have it in the digital, but not on the real. Because the movie was so huge they didn't have room for trailers. Both The Dark Knight and MI 4 (the two movies I've seen in REAL Imax had trailers)

It'll probably be with Iron Man 3, like the third Dark Knight Rises trailer was with The Avengers.

Can't wait for that opening night. My favorite time of year, superhero movies with superhero trailers attached. :yay:

It didn't get a "reaction" but it played great on the big screen.

Although some older guy behind me muttered "********..." at the end of Oblivion.

Caught this in a wonderful full sound mix in front of Oblivion on Thursday...so nice to see it on the big screen and with booming sound, as it was meant to be. Plays really well, and for us it was the final trailer before the film (designed to leave a strong impression). Crowd was whispering "Superman" a few seconds after seeing Jor-El and Lara lift Kal-El into the ship. I think it left a strong sense of anticipation.

Indeed to both your statements. My theater crowd was particularly quiet (no complaints of course). There were a few murmurs after the trailer, but nothing I could actually make out, whether positive or negative. I too murmured "********..." at the end of Oblivion. Great looking movie, but Christ, what the hell was up with that plot! I think my eyes even crossed at a certain point.

well most people dont yell when trailers play from my experience most people are quite and whisper their reactions

lol Kosinki is a hack, Oblivion is not going to have good word of mouth. The movie was worth it because I got to see the new trailer on the big screen.

Yeah I the MOS trailer but it was the first one and it snuck up on everyone. No one new the trailers had even started. People were still talking and trying to find their seats. Then it got quite When Jor-el's voice over began and everyone started watching like they wanted to know what was going on.

*btw MOS looked and sounded awesome in there!

I liked Oblivion alot

If you were to give it a star rating , how many stars would you give Oblivion?

4 out of 5 for me, the FX were really really top notch, Cruise was solid, some of the twists were unexpected, but a few were a tad disappointing but the good outweighed the bad
