1) We see a child, who is referenced a few times. It's assumed to be Bane (Joey King with a crewcut to be gender-ambiguous), until we realise it's actually Talia, and Bane was an older protector for her.
2) Yes, we see Hardy sans mask, and he looks like Tom Hardy. The 'relationship' has no real buildup, it's all revealed in one scene.
3) Ra's takes Bane in because he sees him (specifically, the injuries inflicted on him) as a reminder of his own mistake in letting his wife be taken (or words to that effect). Talia is long-gone.
4) Can't remember if properly explained, but I'm pretty sure she simply dies in the prison.
