Marvel Heroclix

Why does it need to be an investment?

I collect Heroclix and I don't play. But I collect them because I like the artistry and I love comic book characters. I don't care if they are worth anything or not. I enjoy collecting them.

It doesn't "need" to be an investment.

I'm just questioning his motives.

WHY DOESN"T ELECTRO FLY!?!?!?!?
FROGDAMMINT!!!!! HE FLIES IN THE COMICS!!!!!! ARGGGHH!

Because he's Ultimate Electro.

How hard to find (or expensive) is a figure with a rarity of 3?

I'm talking about Veteran Lizard, of course (who should have a max speed of 10, a super strength click on attack in addition to claws, and more than 2 regeneration clicks, BTW).

Pretty dang cool huh?

This month's wizard which I just purchased has a special offer for a Xorn Heroclix figure. 5 dollars + 5 shipping.

He'll be pretty easy to find. But Blades in my opinion takes precedence over the Super Strength, because I always felt that Lizard was more prone to rip into somebody than to smack them over the head with a dumpster.

You spent $75 on something you don't even play?

So what was that, an investment?

no, I'm became good friends with Buzz (an artist you may or may not know, probably most well known for the mid-90's vampirella) over the weekend, and his nephew desperately wanted one, so I was gonna sell it on ebay, but instead gave it to him in exchange for a $150 sketch, and a lifetime supply of alley passes to any cons he goes to. A damn good exchange if I say so myself

i got some universe packs and i got a few new figs one of which i believe is new to the heroclix world its a V. Storm that flys but i'm not sure if she is new because the only other storm i've seen is a nonflyer

Nope. She was in XPlosion. The Experienced Storm represented her when Forge stole her powers.

I must have Xorn (do you pronounce it Zorn?). but is he any good in play?

that would be so aawesome if they were in there. but for now I am happy with ultimates(once they come out).

I got my set of Lizard rookie, expert, and veteran this past weekend! Woo Hoo!

Cool figure, but I noticed that all 3 of them look exactly the same. I thought the Veteran wasn't going to have the long tongue, but I guess the original pics were just a prototype.

Well, yeah, they're all going to have the same sculpt. That's how it goes.

But isn't veteran Electro from this set "flying" where the others aren't?

I'm not sure way but Wizkids as already annouced it's next wave of Marvel Heroclix coming in November 2004 called Mutant Mayham, no pictures yet, but it seems alittle soon to annouce a new wave before Ultimates comes out,IMO.

The Lizard is right, if you check the dial 1 link at the bottom of the veteran Electro's page in the figure gallery, it says that it is capable of flight.

its just like exp. storm and vet storm they look the same but exp storm cant fly. i havent seen electro but i imagine that they all look the same

This is the commercial i was talking about a few weeks ago. it was shot in canada, and my friend is playing Iron Man
