Or maybe I'll get a cheap version of the trade in the future...

:yay:

I've been picking up Savage Wolverine, but was planning on stopping at the fifth issue...and get the future trades instead. I'm doing that with many NOW titles...just getting the first five issues. Due to finances!

I will probably check it out because of how much I loved Mad back in the day on X-Men.

Same here. the pencil drawing of Elektra alone is reason enough for me to check out this story. I love Joe Mad.

THANK YOU MARVEL!
For the 700 free "#1" comics :woot:

I haven't been able to download a single one!!!!

I either get an error message when trying to sign in
or it tells me I need to have wifi to download it while I'm literally sitting right next to my router

I'm glad they suspended it, maybe I'll be able to do it when they restart it

It's because everyone is trying to download at once lol I have the same trouble

Solicits for Avengers 8 and New Avengers 4 look dope. Nova 2 also looks like it will be better than the first issue since we're past lolLoeb guilt trip.

Also, I don't know if I'm slow and other people have already figured this out, but maybe Nova will explain how Star-Lord and Drax came back? It's clear it takes place before AvX and Avengers Assemble #7, and it would also explain why Gamora and Rocket appear to be the only Guardians.

Has anybody been enjoying Captain America? I was a HUGE fan of Brubaker's run (it made me a fan of the character) and I didn't wanna disregard this new run just because it was going in such a different direction so I stuck with it. I liked the first issue, but everything in Zolandia is just really out there. I've been considering dropping it, but the last issue kept me intrigued enough to see at least how this arc ends (maybe he'll end up back on earth).

I think it's the best book Marvel is publishing right now. I love the sci-fi zaniness, but I didn't read Brubaker's run though, for what it's worth.

The first issue was good, but I didn't pick any up after that.

Anybody read the new Guardians book? I wanted to like it, but I just couldn't. Most of the fun of the Guardians comes from them being out in space and doing crazy space ****. But the first story appears to be set mostly on Earth. Thanks, Bendis.

I felt the same way. I was completely underwhelmed. There wasn't a single thing to care about.

You might be right..certainly between Cap, Thor, NA, and Avengers with UA not far behind..there all good.

Yeah, Cap has been phenomenal.

I thought once the malfunction was corrected, that an e-mail would be sent out to all subscribers stating that the comic books could be downloaded again.

I've expressed how much I have been enjoying Uncanny Avengers lately in that thread, but I also need to express how much Superior Spider-Man has been rocking my world. Love it.

Are you referring to issue 0.1? Because issue 1 takes place in space with them doing the crazy space **** you speak of. I dug it.

Absolutely. That's the downside to Marvel NOW. It's been so highly successful that fantastic books are getting lost in the mix. Especially this, (what is now) the flagship Spider-Man book. The character forever has had a negative aura around him but this status quo change has been nothing short of perfection. It's working brilliantly right now.
