Marvel Now - Part 4

I'm curious if that will always happen with a relaunch or if the absurd quantity of relaunching they are doing will burn people out. I would LOVE to see #1s no longer boost sales. I think that'd be better or the ongoing Marvel Universe in the long run.

That image of Magneto making the barbed wire into the shape of his helmet is amazing. Though I hate the bald look and his white costume (like all of the other Bachalo designed costumes).

Avengers AI started off with figures of 68,130 in July and by October sales of 23,146.

I'm not too surprised the title has been haemorrhaging readers as like I've said Humphries hasn't created much to keep you reading. It doesn't help that you have a plot similar to the Secret Avengers from last year.
It's no surprise there. Between the cast and creative team, this book was doomed from the get-go. Having "Avengers" attached to the title doesn't mean anything anymore when the brand has been over-saturated with pointless titles. It looks like we're seeing the same thing happen with Mighty Avengers, I don't have much faith in the Secret Avengers relaunch doing well beyond the initial months.

Maybe Marvel will realize sooner that later that the constant relaunching does nothing except for the high sales for a first issue and the over-saturation will stop.

I wish it wasn't relaunching. The book is great as it is now and if they're having problems selling books maybe it's the marketing team that needs to figure out new ways to get these books out there to new readers.

I said before a Avengers book that just deals with robots wouldn't be enough to sustain a title. Vision, Pym and Victor drew most of the readers to the title originally but it seems like the writer is more interested in Monica Chang who even people who read Ultimate comics don't care about. Also if your going to do a Robot Avengers team why you don't use the likes of Machine Man, Deathlok, Human Torch or the numerous other well known robot/android/cyborgs that might help sell your book.

I enjoyed the hell out of the first 2 issues. I got annoyed and bored just skimming the last few. This might win the award for steepest decline in quality.

Kinda makes me glad I didn't pick it up, even though Victor was probably one of my favorite Runaways. I just had this feeling that it was a dead book walking when even was just announced, and that they just slapped the Avengers name on it to try and sell a few more issues rather than making it fit the name.

I've been enjoying Avengers AI well enough. I like the premise, and its cool to see Victor and Vision. Doombot is also pretty entertaining, and Pym is ok. The other two members are pretty boring, but I still like this book better than the main books written by Hickman.

Didn't know where else to put this:

I'm sure the puzzle piece has something to do with a play on words for Assemble, maybe something for Avengers World since there are a bunch of non-Avengers in there.

Clearly... it would seem like a wedding is going to happen... perhaps not in a traditional sense?

Holy Crap!!!!

Is that ROM in that puzzle? (the guy in front of Hercules)

I thought that was a piece from the 80s at first

You'd think... but even if the Red Hulk was a "recolouring" of the green one... there is a pic off the White Tiger with boobies, so methinks it's a more modern piece of art.

:yay:

it`s in the original version... must have been bleeped out by whoever put this card together... the guy between Iron Fist & Namor has been whited out as well... lol

:yay:

Saw another piece that shows the bridesmaides, groomsmen and a Bride with a veil covering her face. Seems to be Domino, Cap, Logan, Deadpool Corps and Rocket as the bridesmaids and groomsmen...

Maybe its Deadpool getting married?

My guess would be Deadpool and Death. Too many Deadpool connections in there.

The grouping of those characters could be completely random as a marketing ploy I guess. Lotta dead characters...

Wolverine in a suit, lol. They must have gotten him drunk first. :p

I am so completely uninterested in anything having to do with this advertisement.
