So I'm late to the Marvel Now! scene but I have finally arrived. I had been buying the issues since the relaunch and stock piling them, until I got to read AvX. Now I have a huge stack to catch up on.

So far I've read the opening arcs of Uncanny Avengers, New Avengers, Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and the first two issues (0.1 and 1) of Guardians of the Galaxy. Been enjoying it all a lot so far!

Thor has been a blast, probably my favorite at the moment. Really enjoying Hickman's take on the Avengers too, can't pick a favorite between those books. Loving Black Panther in NA, and Cap's stance against the New Illuminati. And they of course handled him in typical Illuminati fashion.

I've been reading all my Peter Parker stuff before jumping into Superior Spider-Man, for a better flow. Picked up the new original graphic novel Family Business to coincide with seeing the new movie. One I finish that, I'll dive into the Amazing finale and start Superior.

Is this even an "event"? It looks to me like it will be a standalone thing that transitions one volume of Uncanny Avengers to another. You know how Marvel loves their relaunches. UA is getting up in the 20's now. That's practically ancient!

Weird grouping of characters, but I'm expecting some sort of alternate reality junk, so that kills interest for me. Provided it takes place in the here and now, that cast suddenly becomes intriguing.

Gambit was supposed to join the Avengers for a long time now and it never panned out. It was teased in X-Sanction then rumored for Uncanny Avengers so it's been "in the cards" for a while now.

I'm wondering if this is not just an Uncanny Avengers thing? I'm wondering if the Skull comes out of the current arc of UA with Onslaught's armor since a dead Xavier was shown to be in control of it (UA#4) and Skull now has Chuck's brain...

I think it's been some of his weakest work to date. It's not horrible but it's HIGHLY convoluted.
