Marvel Now - Part 5

I think it's been some of his weakest work to date. It's not horrible but it's HIGHLY convoluted.

Yeah I love the guy's writing, but I think he should retire Alternate realities and possible futures for a while.

I dunno I dig it different strokes and all. I think his Black Science book is some of his best though. Oh and BoredGuy who is that magical creature in your avatar?

Lol, true. :word:

I don't know what Remender's deal is right now. He usually has such a great grasp on Marvel history. Someone needs to tell him that Marvel fans are sick to death of these alternate universes, especially when it involves the X-Men.

Where's the Illuminati when you need them to ensure all of these alternate Earths burn...? :o

^That it is
I was looking for the slow-mo jogging gif from the paintball episode for my avy, but this was close as i could find, lol
she needs to be in the MCU, she could have been a pretty good SW, or a bangin' kitty pryde

Loved Community only saw the first season but it was very funny. I would totally be down for her as Pryde

thaaaats the one, lol
but gettin it 100x100 was a bit tricky
I forget the website someone gave me for good custom avy's

Axis? I thought the big event for this year was that Original Sin thing. We're getting two? Oh boy. Im glad I stopped even trying to keep track of all this

They're doing the dual event thing now. One in the first half of the year and another in the second half.

I just read that Iron Patriot (aka War Machine) has most likely been cancelled at issue 5 and Mark Waid is leaving the Hulk as of issue 4.

Bad news all around. Was kinda diggin Iron Patriot and Waid was FINALLY telling an interesting Hulk story. Yet Avengers Undercover gets to be a thing

I wonder how Avengers Undercover is?

The previous book seemed to have some really interesting interactions between the characters. I've actually got it on my To Read list I'm also assuming they never brought Mettle back? What a waste that was....:(

I saw in the July solicit that zombie Alex from Runaways comes back to torment Nico. Sounds great, wish somebody else was writing it.

Mettle :(

I wasn't sure where else to go and complain about this but I can't believe Marvel let Clay Mann run off and sign an exclusive deal with Valiant Comics.

That guy's work in the Gambit series was stellar.

And the countdown towards a possible line-wide reboot of the Marvel Universe has officially begun. I know, the idea that Marvel would actually do this does sound far fetched, but given how there's going to be an event starting in April 2015, as hinted in the upcoming Avengers #35 and New Avengers #24 "Time Runs Out" story, involving the "final incursion", i.e. the 616 Earth about to collide into another universe, and if that is leading to a restarting/rebooting/re-imagining of the Marvel Universe, then it only make sense Marvel would have all these "radical" changes like a new Cap and Thor, the death of Wolverine, etc. taking place all at once. Just like when Marvel had Spider-Man unmask during Civil War since, with One More Day, they were going to restore his secret identity anyway along with erasing his marriage. Seems like a similar thing could be going on here, only across their entire line-up of books. In any case, I'd say the speculation regarding a possible "Marvel Reboot" has gained a lot more traction now.

Yeah, this line wide reboot is happening. I'd say a 95% chance at this point. These are the last days of me as a comic reader.....:(
