Well, unless they turn on you
They won't.
Well, unless they turn on you
That I can understand. That makes sense. What doesn't make sense is people suggesting he deliberately set up the Collector attack or is working with the Reapers. That doesn't make sense.Well, according to the comics, it seems like the Illusive Man had some knowledge of the Reapers since way back toward the end of the First Contact War. Maybe he's so adamant about saving the Collector Base because the Reapers (and by extension the Collectors) are basically the white whale to his Ahab.
Its not just Shep but the other members to. Like right after Jacob's loyalty mission, Jacob just walks into the room to talk directly with him. He's below Miranda and ShepardNope, I'm pretty sure he's the head of Cerberus. I don't think it's odd at all for Shepard to be working directly for the big cheese, either. The guy spent a metric ton of cash raising Shepard from the dead and, as we've established, he has a pretty major interest in the Reaper threat. Quite frankly, I would be shocked if he'd handed Shep off to some underling.
Not impossible, just very unlikely based on what I know of the character.I really don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that IM might be indoctrinated.
Unless the Reapers really DO want to screw up their own plans by having TIM resurrect their greatest enemy and destroy their greatest remaining in-galaxy backup, I do not see a single way this makes sense.I really don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that IM might be indoctrinated.
No.Did anyone else think that Cerebrus was behind the attack on the Normandy? While playing the game, I didnt get what the point of the first scene with Miranda and Illusive Man was. They talked about how they needed Shepard in order to get the Council to listen to them. So I though they attacked his ship in order to capture him (bc everyone else was expendable) and get him on their side. I thought that would be the big twist revealed later in the game with Miranda possibly ordering the attack. Of course none of this went down. Anyone else get the feeling early on that this is what happened?
I also thought Miranda's father would show up. One theory I had was that he was the Illusive Man and he had her under his control without her even knowing it. I guess this could possibly still play out in ME3
No.Definitely. Even now, I still can't shake the feeling that Cerberus (or the Illusive Man at the very least) is involved in one way or another with either the Collectors or the Reapers.
Yes, Cerberus was behind the Collector attack and working with the Reapers. So they could have Shepard killed and then pursue an incredibly expensive experiment to bring him back with no guarantee of success. That is why TIM played a major role in killing off the Reaper slave race and ******* up their plans.
It makes perfect sense.
Since I got the Shadow Broker DLC, I read that I can continue my romance with Liara in this mission. However, since I want my Shepard to get hooked up with Miranda in ME2, can I pursue both women or do I have to choose? I don't want to miss out on Miranda like I did with Ashley.
