Tried going with a created character... I just can't do it, lol.

Went with a created character day one, because frankly I think I haven't watched a single Mass Effect trailer, so I didn't have any attachments to regular Shep. And I think my character looks awesome.

^ Where is your avy from? Kickass.

Recently released new anime.

So, Im thinking about getting some or all the DLC's. I havent really heard any reviews. The prices are kinda steep though. Id be spending 40 bucks worth.

Anyone know which dlc is should skip or if all are must haves?

If you can I recommend getting them all eventually, but if I had to pick only 2 I'd go with Shadow Broker and Arrival.

Yeah, if you only want two, Shadow Broker and Arrival would be the way to go. Overlord is also very good.

What's the fourth one?

My Shep looks a bit like Kurt Russell. So he wins.
Awesome, lol.

I don't see why people would want to play as the Shepard we see on the front cover. I mean, there's no problem with it, but I think creating your own character makes it feel more like your controlling the game.

It's a continuity thing for me. Also, I still feel like I'm controlling the game with default Shep. :p

Still playing ME2 and Mordin just sang. What the ****? XD

I tried creating my own character but they always came out ass ugly, so i just kept it with default Shep.

Gah! Decision time. Rewrite or destroy? >_< I hate this.

It's 3 in the morning and I just finished ME2. What an awesome game. And for a suicide Mission, my team did pretty well. :awesome: But there was one casualty. The singing Doctor is no more. :(

That sucks. I lost Miranda my first playthrough, which is the one I think I'll use going in to ME3

I lost Mordin my first time through as well, that really gutted me. :csad:

I lost Mordin and Zaeed the first time because I accidentally pressed A early and chose Zaeed as squad leader instead of Garrus the second time.

A Zaeed-less ME3 would be a sad universe indeed. :csad:

I got through my first suicide mission unscathed. :word:

Yeah, same here. I remember hearing that you could actually lose people on it, so I played pretty carefully. All the stuff just seemed like common sense, really. The part where Garrus gets shot stopped my heart, though. I couldn't live without my Garrus.

Oh dear god, I know! I was like, "Garrus?? FUUUUUUUUUU....oh you're okay."

The only way I would ever be cool with a dead Garrus, is if he visits you a couple times in Mass Effect 3 as a force ghost. Then in the end, with the reapers defeated, Force Ghost Garrus looks on from a distance at Shepard dancing with the Ewoks and nods approvingly.

But yes, the suicide mission isn't hard to get right as long as everyone is loyal and you understand that Zaeed would wouldn't be the best choice for holding a biotic shield. Nevertheless, I've never had a more tense, nerve-wracking experience in a game than that final mission.
