She's going to be on the back of the Collector's edition box with MaleShep being on the front so I imagine that she'll be more detailed beyond what you can do with the character creator.
I'm pretty sure I already supplied that information. :cmad:

As for the rest of it, I'm kind of sad I went to sleep last night and missed the herp-derp.

:csad:

Look, obviously if you're going to play a Halo, or a COD, games with millions of regular online players, the chances of running into racist, aggressive *****e bags are higher.

However, I've never encountered that attitude in any MP games other than the big, industry chomping ones, like your CODs and your Halo. Like I said before, there are plenty of games that encourage you to play with your friends, not anonymous *****ebags. If you're playing online with you're friends and you're still hearing the N Bomb, then I think you might have to assess the social circles you move around in :P

I gotta ask, I have not played the first ME, but Wal-Mart now has ME2 for under 20 and I was really thinking about getting it. Is it worth it? do I need the first game's info?

Isn't the first ME like $10 nowadays? Anyway it's a better experience if you played through the first but ME2 is a great game on its own. Plus you could always download the comic (for like $2? on the XBL marketplace) to fill you in on what happened in the first game.

so they released the comic on 360? When did that go up?

Get the original. I wouldnt jump into the 2nd one without first playing the original. The comic will fill you in on the basic story but there are characters you will meet throughout the universe and references to side quests and events from the first game that you wont completely get without having first experienced them. Plus one of the coolest things about the series is creating a character and following his or her progression across all 3 games. Just do yourself a favor and buy the first one before moving onto the second

last month I think. It's pretty lame that they're charging for it but whatever, I don't need it. hhahah and yeah, Mass Effect 2 without Conrad's cameo just wouldn't be the same to me. It's still a strong game if you don't know what you're missing out on but those little things are what elevate the series above anything else.

Both games are very much worth it. But you really should play the first one before the second.

get 'em both, for $40 you can play 2 of the coolest games this gen. I would not recommend skipping the first one, you'd miss an awesome story and a lot of the 2nd game would be diminished imo. Plus experiencing your personal version of Shep progressing through the series is half the fun.

Buy them both, otherwise it's like jumping into The Empire Strikes Back without having seen A New Hope. ESB is still good enough on its own that its a fantastic experience but you just don't have the same level of context and connection as somebody who has see the first.

Buy ME1 NOW before 3 hits. I remember pricing Mass Effect up about 15 more dollars a few months before 2 came out.

It was like 9.99... a few months before 2 hit it went up to about 24.99 (used)

I guess that's one advantage the 360 will always have over the PS3 with the ME franchise. Only on the 360 can you actually PLAY through Shepard's entire story.

Personally, I prefer ME2's combat over ME1, and once I started playing ME2, I just couldn't go back to ME1. So, I love the idea of the comic. I hope they implement something similar in ME3 ( for people who didn't play the previous games ).

With that being said, if I ever wanted to go back and play ME1 to play my Shepard's complete story, on the 360, I have that option. Something I will never be able to do on the PS3.

I had no intentions on playing ME1 again anytime soon until my 360 HDD wiped. I agree, once you play ME2 it's pretty hard to go back and play ME1.

However, it's good to have the option to do so.

the other thing is......in ME1, there is no face code system. And that's a major convenience in ME2.

Using face codes that I found online helped me to create a Fem Shepard that I was satisfied with in ME2. Way better than the one I created on my own in ME1.

So, if I want to "recreate" my Shepard from ME2 in ME1, I'd have to make a not of each of the sliders in the ME2 character creator. and that's kind of a hassle.

But, I just might do it to see if I can recreate my ME2 Shep in ME1.

Mass Effect's on the PC as well.

That being said I still would love a ME1 remake, on all platforms, as much as I know it'll never come. As it stands right now doing an entire series replay (which I plan to do right before ME3 comes out) always feels rough at the start with ME1.

Anywho, watching this makes me happy.

I still like the look of ME1 more than the shiny ME2 and it's a lot more immersive. I can deal with the shoddy combat because the story is so amazing, I still love driving the Mako on the Feros highway to get to the ExoGeni building. =]

I'm actually glad that they got rid of most of the Planet driving in ME2. It drove me nuts.

I might do a series replay as well before ME3, but I might be too mixed up in Skyrim at the time to play the first 2 games again. It's going to be great continuing as my custom shepard.

Mass Effect's on the PC as well.

I forgot about the PC............:ninja:

but I'm strictly a console player.........so I tend to forget about the PC.......:o :oldrazz:

oh.........and the vehicle driving in ME1 drove me nuts too.

I liked the vehicle segments for the most part, I just wish they pulled them off better like in Shadow Broker.
