The music playing in the background of that scene definitely made the scene more emotional. I'm so glad they chose Mansell as the composer for this.

I'm guessing there are going to be different factions. Maybe depending on how you handled Legion's mission?

Yeah, I don't get it either. I'm guessing they'll come up with some kind of explanation in the codex though. They'll call it "solid state holographic technology" or something.

The omni-tool is described as having manufacturing capabilities, having a fabricator on it - so it can definitely make solid objects (which was pretty clearly seen in ME1).
