Mass Effect 3 - Part 2

Then don't play it. I don't believe the single player will suffer for putting in Multiplayer.

Yup, let them dedicate disc space for multiplayer in an attempt to cash in on the market of those who can't stand the idea of playing a game alone. I mean, it's not like they could use that space for the massive amount of dialogue or whatever, right. lmao this game doesn't need multiplayer.

Anyways if it's confirmed and is nothing but the typical deathmatch stuff then that'll be a bummer. Especially because its last minute inclusion means I won't get to save the galaxy until Spring next year instead of over the holidays.

I think if there is multiplayer I am going to ***** and moan, completely disregarding the sterling quality that Bioware has produced thus far and their dedication and ability to go above and beyond to deliver perfection. I'm going to ignore all that because of a single inclusion because I'm ungrateful and that's how I roll.

I see what you did thurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

If there is MP I'm gonna pretend it doesn't exist. Even if it is confirmed, that still doesn't change the fact that the game doesn't need multiplayer, and without it the game wouldn't have needed to be delayed.

I seem to remember ME 2 getting delayed to pretty much the same time last year too... Hmmmm

Also, thank CHRIST for the delay, because there is already a massive games release glut from September onwards. The last thing we needed was more games.

I don't remember it getting delayed.

Anyways that's a load of BS to me. The best thing about the holiday season is the surplus of game releases. Usually it's not a big deal for me... but Skyrim is gonna eat up a lot of my time lol. Whatever, even with all the other stuff to keep me busy they won't make me any less disappointed about the ME3 delay if they're devoting the extra time to something the game doesn't need.

Yeah, I don't remember a second delay either. There was awhile when it was announced but not dated for awhile, but I'm fairly sure when the date did come it was only that single delay

I didn't say there was a second delay, but I'm pretty sure the April release in 2010 was the result of a delay.

Seriously, between Gears 3, Uncharted 3, Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Assassins Creed, Deus Ex, Dead Island and Saints Row 3, I don't think I need any more games in that period. All those games will last me nicely I think up until March, when I can focus ONLY on ME 3, with nothing else really competing.

EDIT: Nevermind, you're talking about ME2. I thought we were still taking about ME3.

Okay, glad you figured it out. My brain was about to explode from confusion :P

I was playing ME2 in January. Anyway it's cool that you're content with waiting but ME3 is at the top of my list, everything else would have gone on the back burner. Just to set things straight, I was fine with the delay too (because yeah, Skyrim is a mammoth of a game) until this multiplayer s**t reared its ugly head. I thought hey, I'll get to battle dragons while they get to polish the game... and now there's the possibility of them using the extra time to work on something that doesn't matter to the overall experience. That's what I'm fussing over.

People whined and complained about MP appearing in the Uncharted series(I was one of em) and look how that turned out? It's arguably the best MP on the PS3.

People need to wait and see what Bioware has in store.

Unless the multiplayer DOES matter to the overall experience? Going back to my original point, have a little bit of fan loyalty and, if it turns out to be true, how about we give Bioware a chance to show us what they can do?

lol I'll eat my words if they're doing something unique and fun but if this is even true, to hear about it this far into development isn't exactly a good sign.

This is news? I could have sworn I heard about coop in this months ago.

Yeah, I vaguely remember hearing something about a horde mode type thing.

Not sure what to think about adding multiplayer to the game, but I'm curious to see how they handle it.

If MP is the reason for the delay then yes, I am irked. ME3 is at the top of my list (next to Uncharted 3). So I'll be twiddling my thumbs till March. There is a difference between polishing a game and rushing MP onto it.

This.

I knew ME was going to get MP... needed or not the moment EA bought them. Whatever though, it's obvious we're not supposed to voice our possible displeasure...

Yeah it was a sure thing after the EA purchase. If it's some Co-Op missions, I might be down for it. If it's DM or anything Competitive, I'm just not going to bother with it. I'd probably end up breaking a controller, because I'm getting spammed with Pull and Singularity every 5 seconds. Doesn't sound too fun to me. In the end, I guess we just need to wait for more details.

Same here. The only Multiplayer aspect I'm interested in is co-op.

If there is MP, I love how people assume it's being rushed on now... like they only JUST decided to add it on. If they are doing MP, then it would have been planned from a very early stage.

lol yeah, I can see it. Hudson totally wanted to spring this surprise on everybody by denying it until now hahah.

The fact that the game is being delayed seems to imply to it not being rushed. They are obviously taking extra time to work things out rather then rushing it out to meet the last deadline

I thought ME2 was released in January 2010........
