I use that sniper too for my Shepard,I forgot which mods But that rile with mods and armor-piercing ability..I use that baby for Banshees/Brutes&Cerberus Machs!!

The Geth Shotgun and the Widow sniper rifle are my two of my top favorite weapons to use

PC has an exclusive fully automatic sniper rifle. Playing with that as an infiltrator or soldier (slowing down time) is just godly.

how much money can you make? im around 175k, but im seeing items for 250000, multiple items...

I didn't buy anything, then I realized I was at over 600,000 credits. I went ahead and splurged and bought almost anything/everything that would help me and my squad, and still had about 150k left before my final set of missions.

Really? I'm listening to the score now and a lot of it feels new. Who composed then? It's beautiful.

"A Future For the Krogan" :hrt:

I'm not at home right now, but I'll edit this post when I get back to list the individual composers by song, but here is a list of the composers themselves. The main reason as to why it sounds different is because in ME1 and 2, Jack Wall was the primary composer, whereas now it is a mix of a few different ones. While some of these have worked on ME games in the past, none did as much work as Wall.

It is honestly great to see Hulick doing more, as his stuff was always my favorite. Also, I think he and Mansell did a song together. Pure greatness.

Clint Mansell - Golden Globe nominated Hollywood composer recognized for scoring celebrated films including Black Swan, The Wrestler and Requiem for a Dream.

Christopher Lennertz - Emmy nominated Hollywood composer known for his work on the recent movie Horrible Bosses, also composed Mass Effect 2: Overlord, Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker, and won the Interactive Academy Award for Medal of Honor.

Cris Velasco - Known for composing the God of War series' score, has also worked on downloadable content Mass Effect 2: Kasumi and Mass Effect 2: Arrival.

Sam Hulick - Veteran to the Mass Effect series having composed the score for Mass Effect, Mass Effect: Bring Down the Sky and Mass Effect 2.

Sascha Dikiciyan - Video game industry veteran, known for composing the score for TRON: Evolution and the scores of Mass Effect 2: Kasumi and Mass Effect 2: Arrival.

so for those playing on the PS3, how does the game perform? are there lag, frame rate issues, bugs/glitches, etc.?

Only bug I've encountered is occasional freezing when I'm traveling to another part of the citadel

I posted this in the last page But no one replied and I really want to know,I appreciate IF anyone can help me!!

I already passed the main story But I noticed the Cerburus base mission is back in the galaxy map,Does that mean I can do it again to finish the game again or do I need to re-do everything from the start??

I rushed through the main story instead of doing many side-missions and so perhaps I can do most side-missions then pass it again and wait for DLC for extra play time!?

Ah, ignoring me!?!?!

:hehe:

Also, the game takes you back to just before the point of no return, allowing you to play any missions you left before the end.

What are the parameters for the "drunk Tali" scene? Do i just keep playing through the main story missions? Or does it happen after a side mission?

I don't get the game until Monday. *bangs head on wall* This sucks so much.

I had it come up without realizing that you had to meet requirements.

Granted, I go around the ship, talking with each member after each mission to see if anyone "wants to (ie, can) talk.

Ah sorry I didn't notice that before,Thanx again!!

np, man

Yea I do the same, just wasn't sure if it happens after a specific mission or not. Oh well, if I don't see it this playthrough I'll try again in the next. I'm not romancing anyone other than Tali, ever. Well until Mass Effect 4 at least

It's after the - small spoiler -[BLACKOUT]Sanctuary[/BLACKOUT] mission. She's in the lounge getting her drink on.

Aw I miss that Tali part:(,I did the mission where[BLACKOUT]she dies/commits suicide[/BLACKOUT]and then later on I did[BLACKOUT]sanctuary[/BLACKOUT]

I would've love to have seen that!

Glad to see I'm not the only one that kept my spectre status when I got my self reinstated in ME2.

There are a few frame rate and visual hiccups and some funny bugs in the game too. but they can be looked passed up on cause they won't ruin you game play. And as I said some of those bugs are funny..

ah.....thanks!

so......how good are the preorder bonus weapons ( and the CE weapons, if any )?

can you find in-game items that will surpass them?

Don't watch below unless you have completed me 3. Downfall of hitler.

I don't think the ending is that bad, and to be fair, I wouldn't mind at all if it didn't take my choices into account. Its just that it deals with issues that are never really mentioned in the ME universe (transhumanism being the major one and one I'll discuss). While we talk about implants and how early implants caused harm, we never really deal with it outside of a few convos with Kaiden in ME1 and some emails. To have it be the finale is just odd. We are to choose to merge all synthetic and organic life? Why? Is that really what the writers thought was the main plot behind the franchise? Sythetics vs Organics? I never got this. Sure, its a plot point, what with the Geth v Quarian war going on at the time, but if someone was to ask me what the main plot behind Mass Effect, I wouldn't say anything that deals with transhumanism or its finer points.

I am perfectly fine in thinking that when Anderson and Shepard are sitting next to eachother, watching their actions save the universe? That is the ending to me, haha. That doesn't take my choices and previous actions into account. My main complaint is that its just lazy. We were told for years that our actions would change the outcome, and in the end, that just isn't true.

That said, this was an absolutely great game and I cannot wait to get off work to continue my second playthrough.

I agree the whole [BLACKOUT]transhumanism[/BLACKOUT] thing seems like an incredibly random turn for the series. I read on another forum that the original ending and the purpose for [BLACKOUT]the reapers[/BLACKOUT] originally had to do with [BLACKOUT]dark energy[/BLACKOUT], which makes sense considering how often they mention it in Mass Effect 2. But I guess they wanted to change that for some reason.

Have any of you guys heard of the Kasumi mission bug? I read some stuff about it before I got my copy. I ran into this bug today on my NG+. I can only go so far in the mission until the bug kicks in. Really annoying. I hope Bioware fixes it soon. I need her assets.

What bug? Coz during my playthrough I couldn't access a terminal in the holding area if that's what you mean.

Anyway, just finished it and yeah. I am so happy I spoiled the endings for myself because I still sat through the credits disappointed. Like I predicted, Clint Mansell's score did elevate it and made it very moving but... ugh. The post-credits bit didn't help either. Gonna go through a NG+ to see if anything new shows up but dammit that is just... no.

That said, it's still the best in the series.

ME3 > ME > ME2

No ending could ruin how awesome fighting through London was.

It was changed because plot points were leaked about a year ago, and it sounds like the ME team wanted to not give us a leaked ending.

Which is silly.

Yeah, that's the one. Though I found out at BSN if you go to a different level, come back, it'll be interactive.

some people on the Bioware forums are putting forth the theory that the endings are really [BLACKOUT]a hallucination.[/BLACKOUT]

for those who have finished the game, what are your thoughts?

I had earlier said that I don't think this is possible, but after reading posts on BSN about how it could be possible?

Yeah, I'm starting to think that

Shepard is hallucinating at the end, from the moment Harbinger shoots him down until the end. It really makes sense. Do I think it is what Bioware had planned? No, but I do think that if they were to make post game DLC (which after the outrage of the endings, would sell out the butt if they charged for it) its the only thing that makes sense.

Ending wise I am not believing anything until Bioware says something. Thats just setting yourself up for more disappointment. But if that is true then did Bioware really leave stuff out of the game on purpose ? That would probably make me even more pissed off & game ending DLC should be free

The ending to me
feels like watching Return of the King, and stopping immediately after Sauron's tower collapses. Or playing Dragon Age and quitting immediately after the Archdemon is slain. We aren't really given an epilogue or a summation on what happened to everyone. Just some vague inclinations to the Normandy crew and Shepard. But the rest of the ME2 buddies that were on earth fighting? The alien forces that were on earth and now can't leave due to broken relays? Any other notable NPCs? Whole lotta nothing.
They've tweeted to hold on to the save files, and I will. I was just hoping for more closure or clarification before we move on to the next story arc in the Mass Effect universe (which I'm very much looking forward to).
