Yup.

Shepard's walk to the beam mirroring the synthesis path.

This is the most definitive compilation I've seen of all the different aspects of the theory.

http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/9727423

The things I find the most interesting:

The low-res textures that are actually an endless pile of bodies. There are no other examples of something this bizarre in all three games.

Everytime TIM talks, shadows intensify around the borders of the screen and Shepard clutches at his head.

It's a common business tactic when you're pitching something to present the worst choice first and sell it the most, then move onto the better options. (We KNOW you want to destroy US. But if you do, all synthetics will be destroyed, maybe even yourself.)

The catalysts's voice is made up of a child's voice, femShep's voice panned to the left, maleShep's voice panned to the right. Try it for yourself, get some earbuds and listen to the catalyst talk on youtube or whatever. You'll clearly hear Jennifer Hale in your left ear and Mark Meer in your right; no matter what gender you pick.

Shepard's eyes change during control/synthesis.

U guys are lucky I don't run Bioware. I would of told you all to go f**k yourselves. You got the ending you got. Deal with it. NO DLC FOR YOU! COME BACK, ONE YEAR!

Heh, now that's a response I'd at the very least be able to laugh at, unlike what Bioware's gone with so far.

That said, they're forced to at least be nice to fans about how they're reacting to the ending, since they're obviously going to want to sell the fans more stuff in the future.

Its good for business to fix ME3. ME Universe can continue to be a cash cow.

I don't think it do anything either..but if the FTC/BBB makes a few phones into Bioware, that will show Bioware that people are pissed

Bioware's not stupid, they know people are pissed now. That that post even made it onto their message board will obviously clue them into the fact that some people are actually going down that avenue.

That said, it's not going to accomplish anything. The people who do it may feel better, which is fine, but that's about all it can do.

Now people are filing complaints to the FTC for the false advertisement of this game

http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/10065503/1

Which this game was false advertised. I doubt anything will happen

Wow. These people are pathetic. I mean i truly feel sorry for them. The fact that their lives are so bad, that they get worked up this much over a f'ing video game is about as sad as you can get. And gamers wonder why there are so many stigmas attached to them. Well, there ya go.

Filing a complaint about false advertising when something is falsely advertised is pathetic? :whatever:

Dude, give me a break. If you dont think this act is pathetic then you're just as sad as the rest of these idiots. Its a f'ing video game. Get upset, then move the f**k on.

Im not even sure this falls under false advertisement as EA never advertised it as such. Having a dev say one thing then deliver something else doesnt count as false advertising. Thats part of the creative process, things change and evolve. Plus i believe video games are treated as art and art is treated separately in cases like this.

Either way, its pathetic all the way around. Go outside and get some fresh air instead of filing complaints with the FTC and BBB.

Yeah, it's really pathetic to be passionate about something! And to care about it enough to respond civilly through proper channels... I totally see it now, SOOOO PATHETIC! :wow:

Yeah, like if the game was broken I'd say - sure... but its not.

Stuff like this is pushing it too far. This kind of stuff veers deeply into the entitlement range and is honestly childish. Sometimes stuff you're into ends up not being as good as you hoped, it happens.

By all means, make your voices heard and let BW know that you didn't like the ending. Say that you're not going to buy more DLC until they do something about it. All of that is your right as a consumer.

But when it gets to the point where I see people setting dates to call Bioware's number and harass them, that they should organize protests and that they're going to call FTC as if Bioware did something illegal - then people need to get some perspective and go outside.

Good, i was hoping i wasn't going to have to explain it to you any further.

Ok, finally got the game yesterday and I haven't gotten far. I spend a lot of time getting the face of my character right and then doing it all over again. I think I have restarted the game like 4 times now.

I wonder if there would not be that much of a problem if BW never admitted they changed the ending on purpose due to the leaks ? People have a right to be upset with being lied to & used. I hope the next game BW makes fails. Because I sure as hell do not trust BW after this mess

I suspect the FTC will have good laugh over this before filing these complaints in the trash can.

I'm sure the FTC get a s**t load of bogus complaints daily, the Mass Effect 3 complaint included. It's just another way to reach out and say, "Hey Bioware, you f**ked up." They made promises very late in development that turned out to be bulls**t and now they're letting the fans stew in anger. If filing complaints means EA has to deal with them, even if the complaints are fruitless, then good job.

I haven't done anything about the ending coz I'm waiting for an announcement but no, this is nowhere on the level of organizing protests and harassing the Bioware offices with personal phone calls.

I would be surprised if the FTC even made contact with EA over some people calling in and complaining about a video game ending.

So back to the actual in-game stuff...

One thing I've noticed about the "continued" love interest...

While the LI's continued from ME2 don't seem to receive the fleshed out romances that the other LI's do, they DID get some powerful death scenes (if, of course, they die in your playthrough).

Thane's is obviously well known. Tali's is traumatic. And someone sent me Miranda's death (by way of Kai Leng - and again, romance specific), and it's pretty powerful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXRx2JXicu4

That actually makes me wonder if Miranda was supposed to bite it all along (rather than have a completely unexplained and unseen escape from Kai Leng), and it was eventually changed to avoid negative fan response.

I think Tali/Garrus romances are pretty well fleshed as far as ME2 romances go, they seem to be on par with the ME1 romances in the game at least - its the others that work out to varying degrees of success - but yeah the Miranda love interest death was pretty good.

I wonder if she still says "Finish this," even if she's not a LI, I might actually get her killed if that's the case - its a pretty good exit for the character.

in regards to Tali and Legion:

So, it seems that either one can die during the Quarian-Geth conflict mission. Is it possible for both of them to die? Can both live? Or, does one of them have to die at least?

Also, what is the relationship like between Tali and Legion throughout ME 2 and ME 3?

I would imagine they wouldn't like each other much at the beginning. But, do they grow to respect and trust each other? Do they become friends? And, when one of them dies in ME 3, does the other react with sadness?

If you can't rally the fleet as Legion is uploading the code, Legion and Tali kill themselves.

I'm not sure if there's a way to get Legion to live but I saw that outcome coz I forgot to do the geth database mission lol... yeah, I reloaded my last save and lost an hour of game time. There's no way I was going to have that happen in my definitive playthrough. :o

Tali and Legion didn't really keep in touch but she does have a soft spot for him if you bring peace to the quarian and geth. Legion was criminally underused in both games. :(

multiplayer is freaking addicting. ive been doing the whole silver mode vs the reapers thing for 1 million brutes, make it to wave 10 pretty consistently...but then we all get raped.

Yeah, I was gonna say we should go warm up the bottles. :p
