Good customer service? Trying to stave off lawsuits? I don't get it. Why not just create the ending dlc, I think everyone would be okay with keeping their copy if they do that.

maybe it's another sign that Bioware really was caught unprepared for the backlash, and that they never really had anything planned to release after the endings......

that's why, they are now "listening to fan feedback." IOW....trying to figure out how to get themselves out of the giant stink hole they dug themselves in.........

But most everyone would keep their games if they got a endings DLC. So why allow refunds?

Ah I don't have Origin so I assumed customers would be unable to access their ME3 if refunded.

This. If BW had some kind of a grand ending up their sleeve they would have used it rather than simply take all the bad press that has been generated since this thing began.

i figured thats what marauder shields was.

after thinking about it, i liked the ending...just not as the ending to a trilogy. and the lack of a final fight thats nots identical to gold multiplayer.

speaking of which, what do you guys normally use in MP? all my classes are under level 5, except my engineer who is 18. ive been doing real well with the drone and incinerate

This. If BW had some kind of a grand ending up their sleeve they would have used it rather than simply take all the bad press that has been generated since this thing began.

yeah......and I don't know if that makes the whole situation even worse.....

knowing that these were the true endings....that they thought it was a good idea to end their blockbuster trilogy this way........all the while making public claims to the contrary about what players could expect from the endings.

I like Salarian Infiltrator, Quarian Engineer and Krogan Soldier a lot.

If nothing else, the idea of them having intentionally left the endings off the disk to sell I find more upsetting than the endings just being mediocre on their own.

Later today, I believe, they will. On the post they put up from "Admiral Hackett", it should up for everyone by 5 PM PST.

Bioware clearly doesn't know what to do. If they say nothing, they piss people off. If they say something to try and "connect" with the fans to try can calm people down, they piss people off.

It's obvious that they don't want to literally commit to making a new ending, because that would require actual money being spent...if there isn't one already being made.

Making DLC isn't free. They'd need to get things past EA first. And if they promise something they cannot deliver...that'll piss people off even more.

I think they're trying to calm people down, first and foremost. They just haven't figured out a way that doesn't box them into a corner.

but, I honestly don't have much sympathy for them at this point. they boxed themselves into this corner.

it might not make sense financially, but free ending-related DLC may be the only thing that placates the fans. they just might have to take the financial hit in order to repair their reputation and PR.

and i havent unlocked hardly any races on MP. i got a spectre pack which unlocked the krogan sentinel i think, and a random package unlocked the asari adept. ive played quite a bit, i have 2 lvl 5 charactes and 1 lvl 18. i have crap for weapons too.

At this point people can't expect anything for free. They're gonna lose a s**t load of money when it comes to DLC regardless so whatever.

I bought like 50 recruit packs and they got me a quarian infiltrator, salarian engineer, drell adept and turian soldier on top of a bunch of equipment and lvl 10 guns.
