Liking the "Jekyll & Hyde" aspect, differentiating "Bruce" and "Bats" a bit more is very welcome. Felt they sort of blended a bit with the Bale & Affleck takes.

Wtf lol. Emptyhand- I am pretty sure you’re just a troll. First it was the spamming of literally the worst suggestions for the role in the history of the thread, and now you’re posting pics from a Batman porno. It’s actually kind of funny and I’m not even mad at the trolling, it adds some spice to this place.

Really liking Reeves’ take on the duality of Bruce/Batman.

Why do I have a feeling that we won’t get anything official until SDCC next year?

Seems like you’re in a constant state of worry regarding this movie. They’re looking to start shooting in Spring/Summer of next year, and that’s from Matt reeves’ mouth I believe, so they definitely aren’t going to hold off until mid-to late summer of next year for anything official.

If it's worth it then so be it.

I do think it has been an exceptionally long wait, especially when you consider how Ben Affleck was attached the project all through 2016, Matt Reeves signed on in January/February of 2017, so we're almost 2 years out from his signing on and we don't even have a release date yet!

A draft of the screenplay has been turned in and word is the studio is happy with it. We are in the home stretch.

Great to hear. I'm in no rush but it's good to hear of serious progress.

He's still got to do more drafts though. With something like this in taking their time, you don't film a first draft.

Yeah, but I expect they have the general story worked out with major plot points/set pieces and what not, hopefully stuff in subsequent drafts will be mainly fine tuning dialogue and maybe minor story changes, but the pre-production team having enough to work off of that they can set a production start date.

Does WB being happy with a script really inspire any confidence?

I wonder which city or cities will be chosen for exterior Gotham?
