I'm soooooooooooooooo excited. I got home from a nice night out, and BAM! I got hit with all these announcements. Incredible! So much awesome, my heart's pounding. That's my cinematic hype sorted from now through to 2019. Marvel Cinematic Universe is the Star Wars of this generation, we're living in the golden age of superhero cinema!

It's a fantastic idea, I'm not sure why there are people here so adamantly opposed to it. I get that the book wasn't everyone's favorite story, but at the core of it I like the concept and think there are a lot of different places to go with that idea.

I was so happy. I know there are people on here who have been consistently vocal about how Marvel NEEDS a Black Panther film and a Captain Marvel film. We're getting both. So I raced on here to read the joy and triumph over that, instead it seems the thread's dominated with "Meh, no Black Widow solo film or Hulk sequel. And Ant-Man's being neglected!"

Hahaha. Yeah it's unreal. People just love to complain. It's impossible to make everybody happy. Personally I think the film slate is near perfect. I'm ecstatic.

A pro-reg Tony makes absolutely no sense in the MCU when you think about it. Putting Pym in his place gives him a great way to expand his role and allows them to continue to utilize Douglas for another film

Feige mentioned that secret identities aren't a big deal in the MCU, so it will be more about authority and who answers to whom. Given everything Tony has gone through in these movies, I could see be him wanting things to be above-board and organized. He's had some awful things happen to him as a result of rogue meta-humans.

As am I, but then, I got exactly what I wanted. I know there were people especially when I would push for Captain Marvel who would say, "Black Widow instead, she's earned it" or "I'd rather see Ruffalo get a Hulk movie," so naturally, those are the people disappointed today. I can't blame them, because they're feeling exactly how I felt when Cap Marvel and Black Panther weren't part of any Phase 2 announcement.

But seriously, I've gotten SO HYPED by this announcement I can barely stand it.
