I think it's cause he works better with other characters, hopefully because of Hulk we see more of his charisma in Thor 3

I don't really agree with this, Thor is great fun with Loki and the other Asgardian characters in his own movies. A lot of the issue for me with Thor and TDW is that he spends way too much time interacting with Jane. Don't get me wrong, I like Portman, but MCU Jane Foster just isn't an interesting character in any sense. She's like a charisma black hole, and unfortunately she has a habit of sucking everyone else in with her. Luckily, she isn't in Ragnarok. t:
