Dude. I keep telling you to post this in the other thread. That's where all the people who know about mergers and acquisitions are. You'll get a far better and more informed discussion there, because people have been discussing this very subject there for literally years.

I'd rather Rogue be the new member in an inevitable sequel (after leaving the Brotherhood, if that's the storyline they're going with). That would mean more attention showered on her a la Nightcrawler in X2.

And please no more "classes" as in First Class, Second Class etc. For one thing I wasn't a fan of First Class. And (2) I doubt Feige will have them as teachers again.

I don't care how pro-homosexuality Disney is, Mystique being Nightcrawler's father is non-canon and idiotic.

My main issue with it is that her gimmick is that she can change appearances. If she can change her biology, it raises further questions about her. If she is capable of impregnating a woman, then shouldn't she also be able to gain other mutant powers when turning into them? And if she does, that would really diminish Rogue's role since being able to use other powers is her main gimmick.

So while I find the idea interesting, it really doesn't make a lot of sense.

In terms of does Fox have the rights to all of the gay characters in the comics? No. Marvel has Karolina Dean for one thing, who has already been established as such on screen.

We have several marketing analysts, Trades, Bob Iger and Disney themselves saying the X-Men are coming home and that Disney will OWN the contracts Fox has on the Marvel properties allowing them to do anything they please with them.
