Most disappointing movie expreience of your lifetime

Superman Returns. Spiderman 3.

The second time I saw Spiderman 3 I for some reason thought that it was going to be better but no...it was the same.

The Phantom Menace. I was so hyped for that movie. Such disappointment.

X-men 3, Spider-Man 3, Matrix Revolutions....these are the three that come to mind right away

The correct answer is Batman And Robin. I didn't sit through the whole thing, and haven't seen the entire film to this day.
if you payed money after the trailers then its your own fault.

they didnt show the bat-card but the trailers were very fair. they showed exactly what kind movie it will be . they even showed all bad lines.

you can not do this and then cry when you lose half of your face

Hulk 2003. The more I wached this movie the more I disliked it. I can not watch this movie without getting pi$$ed off. I tossed the DVD in the garbage. Sad.

I gotta go with D-War (Dragon War)

I don't know why, but, for whatever reason me and my friend were really jazzed up about this (the trailer seemed pretty cool) we hit the midnight premiere an everything, but, we were both like WTF...

I can usually take any movie and find some enjoyment out of it, even if its just out of entrainment value, so, to be disappointed with anything is pretty rare for me

Transformers. Especially after the online interview I saw where the writers PROMISED to make the selected characters as close to the original G1 cast as they could. Total bunk when I saw they all looked like insect-faced mutants. Optimus was the only character remotely resembling himself thanks to Peter Cullen. They robbed Frank Welker and made the Decepticons talk that alien jibber jabber the whole time. I haven't even seen part 2 yet. I hear it's more of the same shlup as before, except this time they wised up and brought Welker in. Yay. I might watch it on DVD.

1 plus - Concept Camaro Bumblebee. They get credit for that one.

Crap. Site bogged down and I clicked "Post" twice. Not tryin' to spam here, y'all.

If you didn't like the first Transformers, you won't like the second one.

Hell I liked the first Transformers and absolutely despise the second one.

Matrix Revolutions and Superman Returns. Public Enemies was pretty disappointing too, but not the worst ever.

I think the first time I learned that I could be disappointed/underwhelmed by a movie was The Matrix Reloaded. I was 13 years old, and my friends and I were *gigantic* Matrix fans. And then the Matrix Reloaded came along and I, along with most of the world was left saying "What the ****!?". The worst part is, I had taken my dad to see the film with me, because he hadn't seen the first Matrix and I wanted to convince him that it was a revolutionary, thought provoking film that changed action movies forever. And then he sat through Reloaded and had all of his suspicions and preconcieved notions confirmed and to this day he won't watch the first Matrix.

Superman III and IV
B&R
Godzilla
Hook.

I liked Reloaded to be honest. Has one of my favourite action scenes ever in it.

But it definitely didn't live up to the first. It was too jumbled. It didn't know whether it wanted to be a all out sci fi actioner, or a philosophical sci fi movie. It tried to blend the both together, but failed in the most parts.

Superman Returns, Ang Lee's Hulk, Batman Begins, Watchmen Theatrical Cut but most of all.....

Indiana Jones 4.

Though I do enjoy it now. I'm a disgustingly die hard Indy fan. I went in expecting another Raiders of the Lost Ark. That was stupid of me.

when i first watched superman returns and it started with lex wearing a wig... my stomach dropped and i just kept this fake smile on like i was enjoying it

all i could think was "what have they done!?"

Hmm the three movies I was tricked by marketing and high hopes was Spider-Man 3, Terminator 3, and Terminator:Salvation *I'm a fool for Terminator I guess ;)

But Spider-Man 3 the first time I saw it I was in a dream like state so I was not disappointed at first, but then on a second viewing it was like a hammer to the privates. And I was really stoked for that film.

I think, for me at least, the final nail in the coffin was the Architect scene. If not for that scene there may have been some cracks for air to come through, so to speak.

Spider-Man 3. i loved the first two. although #2 took a second viewing..i still love it. i can't say that about spider-man 3.

oh man, i was so pumped for #3 it wasn't even funny. its all i would talk about for weeks before it released. opening night..i sped to the movie theater after work and got in line. when the movie started i was like a little school girl seeing her crush walk by her in the hall way. i was so excited. but when the end faded to black and the credits rolled..i literally sat their in utter shock. while everybody in the theater was clapping their hands..i couldnt get over how disappointed i was. when all the clapping stopped..i looked over to my brother and said.."what the hell was that?"

probably like most of you, i went back to see it a second time..hoping it would be better..and it was not. it actually was worst than before :( i havent watched the movie since..
