I'd like to see Nightcrawler as Mystique's child and they can make it. Azazel was in FC and Mystique went with him along Magneto and company, she could have an affair with him before Bolivar Trask killed him. Then she could have put Nightcrawler aside to fight her war alone in DOFP and since then she has been looking for him. Once found, she brings him to Xavier's.

But something tells me we won't see this in the film...

Going by that interview i think we could see kodi out of make up at some point

Like I said, within this movie I think it’s explored that I get to be myself, but I realized in some of the X-Men: Evolutions for instance, Beast made him a watch in which he could change back to himself. These are all things that are left there that could be added at any time.

I am gonna take a guess and say if that is the case then for this film it could have something is gonna happen with hanks serum that shows him how he would look not blue

I mean, Singer and co. could come up with any kinda plot convenience to show Kodi out of makeup, but I would hope they don't go that route esp. after all the complaining that's happened with Mystique. Mutants are accepted now, so Kurt can be all Kurt and wear his Thriller jacket without being judged too harshly now (esp. since he's in the mall scene) He probably just said it saying they acknowledge all these other aspects of the character in different mediums rather than hinting at something.

its just when he said "within this movie I think it’s explored that I get to be myself" that made me think what did he mean by that? and then he brings up x-men evolution projection gadget thing as a idea possibility... it just made it sound like he was saying that there is something in this film that does show him looking normal so if they did wanna carry that on in some way then they would have given us a look at him not blue so it wouldn't be odd

Singer did say this film was predominantly about family so who knows? I'm not holding my breath but I'm certainly not ruling it out.

Angel and Nightcrawler first fight in the cage, and later as X-Men and Horsemen. Must be confusing to keep meeting up like that, first in Germany and later in Cairo. Exciting to see their "rivalry".

Maybe we'll see Evolution like scene with the Nightcrawler, where he turns into Kodi.

We saw you on set rocking the thriller jacket. Is there going to be a Michael Jackson homage at some point?

SMIT-MCPHEE: Y’know, I’m not gonna lie, I did dance a little bit at one point, so we’ll see if they pop that in there and the jacket did inspire that a little bit. (laughs)

This would be amazing to see Kodi just goofing around and do the MJ dance

Are you doing an accent?

SMIT-MCPHEE: Yes, I’m doing the German accent with the big fangs in my mouth and my inch-thick contacts. No, but I say it’s all justified, all the labor that goes into it, the heat, the sweat, blood, sweat, and tears, it’s X-Men. It’s amazing.

Honestly that is unfortunate to hear that he isn't doing the German accent, that probably would have cinched it for me especially since he was apparently doing heavy study of the character, and all this talk of getting a more comic accurate Nightcrawler. I was wondering why more people didn't talk about it. Or Maybe he was just goofing around and he does have the German accent after all. It unfortunately doesn't feel like it.

Maybe he does keep some form of the accent since it doesn't make sense that he goes from no accent to Alan Cummings having an accent(vice versa of Halle having the accent in X-Men but it being gone X2.)

We found out that Nightcrawler has a scuffle with Archangel. What can you tell us about that relationship before he becomes a horseman.

SMIT-MCPHEE: I’m not sure I can tell you much, but they do have a little bit of an ongoing scuffle and it’s very entertaining. (laughs)

This makes sense on multiple levels, not only religious connotations and story wise ,but honestly it looks like it would be visually fun interactions between the two characters.

Oh, I guess because of the "No,but I say it’s all justified" had me thinking, it was a joke he said he was going to do a German accent, before explaining he's not doing a german accent but it's all justified regardless. It was just the way it was written that had me thinking it was said in a different manner
