Nice photo! What's that structure, a helipad?
did they build the landing ground so that they can rotate it? i guess for having more control on the sun. for rim lighting right?

After a primarily tame day on Thursday, there was a tad more excitement on set of "The Dark Knight Rises" in Newark.
Features writer Amy Kuperinsky managed to get close to the action and has been dishing to her peeps on twitter all day. Here's what we know:
• The comic gods have answered geeky prayers and yes, Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway are finally on site...
• There will be shooting in the Military Park light rail system. Speaking of, there are many more Bat gawkers near the Military Park stop compared to yesterday's downright tranquil day of shooting.
• Scattered Gotham Police vehicles are starting to pop up ... In fact, one police cruiser on Commerce Street is becoming quite the tourist attraction. Cell phones are out. Pictures are being taken.
• Crowds of onlookers are instructed to chant: "Hello, Christopher Nolan!"
• The first assistant director tells the crowd to look like "concerned citizens of Gotham..." No smiling, they say. Laughter apparent.
So, presumably Anne isn't in Catwoman-garb for what they're filming here then.

I just want to point it out, in case any of you didn't realize this...
Nolan is now double-vesting.

So if the Batwing is there, then I'll assume the fight will take place in front of the Museum of the American Indian across from Bowling Green; or maybe the park across the street is involved. So many possibilities.
