I guess. I just noticed that the 99 cents bag of chips have gone down to 50 size and cost $1.09!

What happened?

That's crazy. I don't notice stuff like that living on this amazing island but aside from money problems, the city is amazing this time of year.

He loves all the attention he's been getting in here.

Haha, indeed.

Incidentally, I'm listening to the epic guitar riff/drum session on "The Day That Never Comes" by Metallica. They go pretty well together. :)

I seriously can't even imagine what it's going to be like. This place is going to explode with activity. Remember when this place would burn through a thread a day? It's going to be like 10x that. I can't wait. Part of me is so excited for the trailer and prologue because I want to discuss it with you guys! I can't wait to see all the reactions!

:exp:I've nevah experienced a time like this before. I'm so excited!

You know what is strange? Is that despite the fact that I totally enjoyed my experience during my viewing of The Dark Knight, see the reaction of people around me was much more pleasant. As a fan of Batman, see all the amazement in their eyes was wonderful.

I think it's something that may recur with TDKR.

You should just ignore him like I do.

The last time we had a "discussion", even a mod commented on his behavior...and even then he still found the time to throw potshots, even though i stopped typing at him at that point. And they act like you're the only problem. It is what it is.

Riiight. :o I wasn't the only one to find fault your oxymoronic statements.

Likewise. Both of you should steer clear of me, and I'll ignore you both. That should solve everything.

people's vocal amazement at Ledgers first post prologue scene felt good.

I was speechless but their vocalizing spoke for me

This is why I really want to see it on opening night with a crowd of people who will appreciate every minute of this movie. It's just a way more enjoyable experience.

I attended the premier of TDK here in Dublin. It was the best cinema going experience of my life. People were dressed as Batman, the Joker, wearing Batman t-shirts etc. The audience was the best. Everyone laughed at the funny parts, jumped at the fright parts (The copycat Batman body hitting the Mayor's window, Harvey's "SAY IT!!!" etc). There was a monstrous applause at the end when the credits came up.

If my TDKR experience is half as good as that I'll be pleased.

Midnight showings are always the best because everyone there is just like you. There are no annoying kids or anything like that. Just fans who have been waiting a very long time.

Yeah, I got tickets for an early screening in Newcastle and it's the one and only time I've seen the whole audience applaud at the end of a film. There was a girl the row behind me who screamed 'No!' when Dent shot Batman.
I remember leaving and feeling as though I'd been physically and emotionally battered. It's not the feeling you expect from a summer blockbuster... that film was really outstanding.

The fact that TDKR looks to be upping the stakes further really really excites me.

I'm going to make a LIVING PROOF NOLAN DOESN'T MURDER FANS shirt for the midnight premiere.

No bubbly teenage girls... no crying babies... no middle school punks....

I was 14 at the time and I dealt with that BS. My first theater experience was still great but if I were with a more adulterated audience...would be the best.

There were kids my age chatting away, a middle aged man yelling,"Shut the **** up!" to the kids. Not to mention my 2 friends said it could've been better walking out of the theater...that made me rage that night.

Presently, they both love the hell out of the movie. I don't know what was with them that Friday night.

My 2nd theater viewing in IMAX in Atlantic City was far superior. Wish it was the first time though.

The more I talk to my friends about this the more I realize I will be watching this movie alone :funny:

I expect people weeping tears of joy after the midnight showings.
