Whatever you say Fox Mulder.

In fact it would be kind of hypocritical why you're not sharing what you've heard about the simple look or function of the Catwoman suit.

You're literally giving video footage on a daily basis, spoiling actual in scene photography of what we are to see in a movie.

And you can't describe what you've heard w/o revealing a source?

This guy is 100% correct. Subaru is being a complete hypocrite.

Should he reveal his so-called top secret information? No. Should he be filming everything they film and spreading it throughout the internet? No.

Is it illegal? No, it's not. But it's definitely disrespectful to the people who have worked on the film.

Subaru himself spouted off to some dude about his watermark on photos and how taking the stills and reposting is copyright infringement. Ummm... no, it's definitely not. If he's so confident the videos/stills are his property, why did he freak out when someone posted his real name with his video? Scared of Warner Bros, perhaps? Guilty conscious because he knows what he's doing is wrong? That's what I thought.

New info.

Just wait for it. I shouldn't have even said that.

Just keep looking at, Ninjas, everyone, you are digging up some amazing scoops.

Trust our Ninjas and trust our silence for a little while.

everyone is going to go ape-*** over this film

I'm already there :woot:

haha, would I steer you wrong boom?
I don't think you or subaru would, no. But I don't know the source, and I can't rule out the possibility of disinformation.

It's nothing personal, but through years of experience (and dashed hopes), I've hardened into a "Pics or it didn't happen" person. I mean hell, I was dead-set in my belief that Tate wasn't Talia until subaru's pictures came forth that appeared to prove otherwise.

I'm with you, if I hadn't got it from a credible source myself I wouldn't be this into it.

You're going to be happy.

Every last one of you.

Now...Back to lurking.

Fans getting up on pedestals over the ethics of set videos.

Only on the Batboards :lmao:.

I'm not meaning to be confrontational or rude. And really someone would have to be really sensitive to consider this "rude" ... I'm not putting the guy down in a personal way.

Just pointing out the visible flaw in logic. I respect his decision, just saying it doesn't make much sense. He respects this source enough to not reveal information (even though it wouldn't directly incriminate anyone) ... yet he doesn't have enough respect for a film's production to take VIDEO FOOTAGE of in scene film production? Essentially disrespecting the film maker's vision by showing footage before it's ready to be seen (which is also basically stealing) .... I'm just saying very hypocritical. I'm not saying what he's done isn't appreciated, or what have you.

Saying that it makes no sense as to why he would not want to let the cat out of the bag because "it wouldnt directly incriminate anyone" is like saying that if someone on this forum and outside of the production knew the end of the film, that it would make no sense not to share the info because it would not directly incriminate any one person, even though only 4 involved with production know what the ending is going to be. 4 individuals know the info that would be shared in such a case, but one would still be ticked off and know his trust had been violated.

Also, the video and pictures that he and others have shared with us is not a matter of respect or lack of, it is a matter of sharing it with real fans just as TMZ and any other news or paparazzi organization feel they have the right to do when sharing many of the same pics and vids with the masses.

I took plenty of cellphone vids and pics when they were here in Chicago for TDK. Now, I took them to simply capture everything I saw so I could look back at it later as fond memories, much for the same reason people do with home movies. Now, because I shared some of those pics with my fam and friends, does that mean I have no respect for Nolan or those that work their butts off to bring us such great movies? I think not. And "stealing"?? Really? Taking video and pictures of something with your own camera when it is being filmed or performed out in the open air is no more stealing than taking a picture of a fire in your neighborhood, which turns out to be arson, would happen to be 'tampering with a criminal scene'.

If this topic is already dropped by the time I am done rambling and post this, I appologize for beating a dead horse. It is just that when people display such flawed logic and support it by horrible examples, all while accusing others of having flawed logic.... it hurts my noggin to the point I dang-near go cross-eyed.

That is completely different. I'm not stealing reels of film and uploading it to YouTube. I'm filming what I see. Which is most certainly not the final product. And the only reason I don't want my real name out there is that its unproductive. It just means I'll have random people trying to add me on Facebook, if I'm identified as subaruwrxfan, that will direct them to my YouTube channel. It's not a guilty conscious, like I said, everything I'm doing is legal, and there's literally hundreds of people filming this stuff from every angle, so even if I wasn't filming this, all these things would still be out there because they're doing it in a huge city and it's 2011. They knew that when they started.

Has anyone who attended the open call for extras in LA heard back yet?

I attended and as of yet haven't heard back.

I was there. They said that they would get ahold of people as it got closer to filming. They would try to give a 3 to 4 days heads up but they said not to be suprised if you get the call the night before

I trust myself and I'm already ape-**** over this movie. I see no reason if you like me loved both BB and TDK to ever doubt Nolan.

Don't waste your time, subaru. We're just morally bankrupt individuals destroying the integrity of the film.

Oh c'mon. every last one of us? I'm sure that no matter what it is someone will have something to hate about it. that's just how these boards work. people have their idea of how things should be and if it doesn't conform to that then they will criticize it no matter how pedantic or absurd.

The funny thing is, all these videos are doing WBs viral marketing for them for free. These videos are generating such a huge buzz about this movie, it's blown up far beyond what I ever expected.

Well, if there is a cowl/ears, I will quite enjoy the backpedaling from those members who argued up and down that a cowl would be too silly and too unrealistic for Nolan's franchise.

Oh yes. I would enjoy that quite a bit :awesome:.

Probably the reason they didn't attend Comic Con. Let the ninjas give them publicity.
