Official Man of Steel Trailer(s) Thread - Part 5

42 is my guess, and I have reasons for that guess. But I'm not saying its impossible that WB might debut the trailer with a different, non-WB film.

I know TDKR trailers appeared with the Avengers but I don't think a trailer debuted with the Avengers, from what I can tell.

It was attached and debuted with The Avengers. Likewise the final trailer for The Dark Knight was attached with Iron Man and Inception debuted with Iron Man 2.

If a trailer will debut in 4 weeks then the choices would seem to be it'd be attached with either GI Joe 2 (March 29th), 42 (April 12th) or Oblivion (April 19th) but I'd be more inclined to believe it's either G.I Joe or Oblivion given the two are also major IMAX releases and Warner Bros. partnership with IMAX.

Good God man! I wasn't too wild about the original music choice for the trailer initially, but it grew on me a lot. This makes me appreciate it much more, no offense.

I do hope we get some cool, epic music in the new trailer. No more of this emo woman vocalizing in the background that drowns out the trailer dialogue, please. It's too damn morbid and depressing, but more so on a laughable scale. Like Zack Galifinakis singing at the beginning of the Hangover 3 trailer. Like...they're not seriously doing this, are they?

I would like to be proven wrong, but I think that the trailer will come with Oblivion..And, yes, WB probably will feature MoS at MTV..then the day after there's the CinemaCon in L.A...so something those days will come Oh and, WonderCon in 4 days

I would take Wondercon out of the conversation. I think most of us agree with an MTV exclusive, but the movie debut is in the air. Oh and btw, what exactly is CinemaCon?

I believe it's the convention formerly known as ShoWest, a movie theater industry trade show run by NATO (the National Association of Theater Owners). Held in Vegas. Good time.

Last year Chris Nolan was there and showcased new footage from TDKR and even SR was at ShoWest and debuted a new trailer. It's a dead cert Man of Steel will be showcased with possibly Snyder and Cavill there and we'll hear about it on Wednesday from the trades.
