I think we need to consider the fact that just because we have been told certain characters will not be in the movie doesn't mean they won't be in the movie. It just means it's a tight secret being kept under wraps, to be kept as a surprise until we see the film for ourselves.

That's what I'm saying. I'm not saying that he is gambit. I'm saying that it's not impossible that we have been fooled. (it has happened before )

I'm not convinced. Magneto emits the strongest ever electromagnetic wave pulses! And he can do so much more with electromagnetism. Why have someone with similar, but inferior, powers to the Brotherhood's leader? Also, Arclight emits some kind of wave-pulse. The mutant you named has the codename Bedlam, by the way.

Also, as they have combined and adjusted various mutant powers (in Callisto especially, as she also appears to have the powers of Caliban and Quicksilver), we don't know quite what this mutant could be capable of...I'm so excited to find out!!! I wanna know, I wanna see the movie now!

No problem, you looked, you investigated, you tried! The problem is we don't know if his look is an exact copy of his comicbook look or whether he is 'reimagined' somehow. No one would have guessed Callisto, Arclight or Quill from their pictures...

That is definitely not Gambit. Could be Forge but i'm guessing it's a random mutant.

i wouldn't hold it past the producers to put gambit in the movie, they have been saying forever that he isn't in it, but maybe they just want they're biggest secret not to get leaked, because they're not dumb, let us have a lot before the movie, but not everything, and leave a lot of secrets to generate word of mouth buzz as the movie gets out

just think, how many more people are going to see this movie in the second weekend if they hear, or saw in their first veiwing, gambit, for even, 10 minutes or something, say a clevar line, and throw a card

They could be lying about gambit. I'm actually really anxious to find out who this guy is. He must be a big character, due to their secrecy about this guy. I'm gonna say it's probably forge, but I would like him to be gambit (and actually fight someone...)

He does have a nuance of Gambit in the trenchcoat and looks... I find it hard to believe they'd lie about Gambit being in though....

he really does remind me of gambit but then again they've confirmed that gambit's not in the film... maybe he's just probably a nobody? lol. i doubt that since knowing magneto will bring with him the best (e.g. callisto, phoenix, mm, arlight, quill, pyro). lets just name this guy "Unknown" until we confirmed his true identity from the movie.
