Definitely, it's pretty much confirmed they will do one after they accidentally released their quarter slate of releases.

Oh, thank you. I didn't know this was out and was wondering when the The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Collection was coming out. Thanks! :yay:

Fingers crossed this TDK Trilogy set brings bonus content, not yet seen.

If we get an extended TDKR, maybe a commentary (doubt Chris Nolan would do it but maybe with Jonathan?) for each and some BTS features, I'll be a happy girl.

are we absolutely sure there is going to be an Extended Edition release?

To add to Kane's evidence. Jackson and a few of the actors have mentioned it in interviews. Jackson said it was around 25 minutes longer and was being worked on.

25 mins seems about right, would put the movie just over the 3 hour mark, my only hope is the first 45 mins arent extended, as that was the only part of the movie that dragged for me. The rest I loved.

I'm sure a bunch of people will be able to rip it all over the web with or without the code for others to see.

If they don't show Beorn, that sneak peak will be a total bust.

Why do you gotta be like that :csad:?

alrighty then :) i'll just wait for the extended edition blu-ray then

Well, maybe not THAT bad. Not as good as a real person in prosthetics though (in my opinion).

He looks like he is made out of unglazed clay.

Del Toro's paws are all over that design. Azog looks like a more lithe version of a goblin Hellboy interrogated (and punched into a meat grinder) in the Troll Market. Are they currently shooting Desolation, or did they shoot all 3 at once?

Please.

You can see stretch marks across his torso, imperfections in the skin, scarring, wear and tear, and age. That is very good animation. The color doesn't lean itself to praise, but given he is an orc that operates in very little sunlight he isn't going to be anything other than pale death white.

They are going back for extra filming, but the vast majority is already done.

Please take your "please" somewhere else. It doesn't look good to me. That's my opinion on the picture.

Please take your offense somewhere else. That post wasn't directed at you. And, yeah, the design is lacking (he looks like a cat man and has the design of a final boss), but the animation itself is good. Especially when you consider that he was a very late addition and they animated him in rush.

I was the only one who criticized the picture...

Well then maybe its the creature design that I don't like. Regardless, it doesn't fit in with any Orc that I've seen in the first three movies.

Sorry about that.:yay: You just got caught in the cross fire. I've been listening to people fuss in various places about Azog since the release so it was more of a frustrated "please" to the general cloud of disent and fussing I've heard for months. I get that people don't like the design. I don't like the design, either. As you say, it is completely different from any Orc, and looks like a cat-man. I'm right there with you on that. But the animation is good. Its one of those cases where the design just sinks the whole thing regardless of the good animation. Its like a drawing. It might be masterful work, but if it is a drawing of a cow taking a dump don't know one want that.

Lol, no problem man, I totally see what you are saying. Now that you bring it up, it's definitely the design that rubs me the wrong way, contrary to my previous posts.
