I really dislike the use of "honour". Tons of people use that as a reason to support someone who otherwise wouldn't be a good person if he did the same thing for the same reason, but lacked "honour". But then again, honour does lead to several good things, as it does bad. Though, by today's standards, I wouldn't consider Spartans all that good of people either.
Either way, I apologize. You're right. Not all Americans value ultraviolent methods of fixing problems.
I actually had a friend once, who did things the "American Way." Behaved very much like Celldog does. When his stereo broke, he punched it. I kid you not. He just got mad and destroyed it further.
