So in Ultimates 2 obviously they killed their villains... in Ultimates 3... most of their villains are from X-Men and they don't really have any right to be killed off in Ultimates comic...

What does everyone think will be the outcome of this? Will they kill them or not??

Wolverine and Sabertooth on the same battlefield... last I remember didn't they leave to go find out about their life and suddenly that was dropped 2 issues later (for those of you who read Ultimate X-Men you'll know what I am talking about)... are they going to address this?

I'm thinking imprisonment again or a copout "We'll get you next time!".

Yeah none of this makes a whole lot of sense.. and in the solication for Ultimates 3 # 2 is it a joke that we aren't supposed to know that Wolverine will be that character appearing at the end... or.... is it someone else???

They probably just hoped with the long periods of time between releases that we'd just forget all about it

Despite the fact that Hank should have never been kicked off the team to begin with, as the personal should have no effect on the professional... I'm a huge fan of the argument that Hank was working against the Liberators to begin with, just to get his Ultron units online and have something to show the Ultimates, since his driving goal was always to get back on the team and there was never any element of maliciousness in his actions (of getting back on the team).

And he was in Ultimate Power as an Ultimate, which takes place after Ultimates 2, so it's not really a shock that he's there.

Well that's very true. Hank's a jerk but he's not evil. I don't think he'd want his entire country taken over. He's selfish but destroying your country?

Hell, I would like it even more if it turned out that he was an Agent for Fury all along. That they came to some kind of deal after all...Hell, it'd be a kicker if he was STILL currently an Agent for Fury.

It's been out in paperback, just not hardcover yet... but even the hardcover is on its way and it has Ultiamtes 2 - all 13 issues, the previous paper backs have all 13 issues broken into two books, both of which are already released

Actually the second scenario you mentioned is plausable. There's no Donald Blake in the Ultimate Universe so maybe they gave his origin to Valkyre. Maybe she's been having dreams and premonitions about who she really is or will be and she just went about it the wrong way.

Oh and I'd like to see SHIELD grab up Spider-Woman, Luke Cage (power him up through a now perfected serum or something), and the rest of the Defenders and make a New Ultimates. Or at least a New Defenders.

If they did this, then half the fanbase would whine and cry its becoming too much like 616...

Of course, the other half of the fanbase cries foul when things aren't ENOUGH like the 616...There really is no winning when it comes to how things should be in the Ultimate Universe. To me, whatever they do...its Ultimate.

Heh...yeah, we're just owned by Mad's inconsistency. Yup, that surefire inability to differentiate between universes really pwned me.

And let's not turn this into some grand statement- the complaints from old fans are over his origin and size in USM, not his look. Let's not fix what wasn't broken.

Not this garbage, though. I still love Mad's UXM work, but he's not going to get me to pick up an Unverse book. McG, on the other hand, is going to be very, very hard to pass up. Thankfully, I've got about 8 years before the going gets tough.
