Yeah and when they do its super toxic, or at least their blood is which is why some of the Jaegers have cauterizing weapons. Might have something to do with why they don't just blow them up as well.

I now wonder what are they eating to create excrement? I wonder if there is a part of the movie where the people in the cities are attacked that want the Jaegers to help in the cleanup especially if they kill a Kaiju within the confines of a city. The Jaegers may not be able to always draw the Kaijus away from the cities successfully.

Man, I know it's just the remains, but it looks nothing like the Trespasser in the trailer. Looks a lot more like the goblin shark kaiju.

That looks like just the spine and skull of the Trespasser with its intestines hanging out. The lower half of the body looks like its been severed.

Del Toro confirmed that the one attacking the bridge is the first ever Kaiju attack in his trailer commentary with MTV.

I believe it attacks both Japan and the U.S. The same Kaiju attacks the hometowns of both Hunnams and Kikcuchis characters which leads them to become Jaeger pilots.

In the original script, the first attack took place in Japan. But for the final version of the movie, it was moved to San Francisco.

if thats the case then doesnt Rinkos character have a powerful reason as Hunnams to become a Jaeger pilot? I thought they were kindred spirits because both their hometowns were devastated by the first Kaiju attack.
