Person Of Interest - Part 3

From the description of the final episode and the photos they released, it looks like the finale will take mainly in the subway hideout.

really?... I didn't know that the subway hideout was going to be the locale of the finish... somehow I just don't have a good feeling about all this now... now I REALLY fear for the team and all their safety... I hope it doesn't turn out that the remainder of the team will go down hard and be taken out and ROOT will be the last one left remaining... but I hope at least that that smug f***, Greer, will also be taken out...

Yeah, it's done after the finale. When the premiere date was announced, Matt Mitovich from TV Line mentioned they already shopped it around (no takers) and the show is over.

The car chase in the last episode was epic. That was like movie level quality.

One thing I said in 2010 was that this show could fill 24's void. I guess CBS just didn't see it.

24 was like getting a big action movie on TV every week. Person of Interest always had some fun action adventure elements.

The score from the Rules scene is just so good. :atp:

Jonah Nolan tweeted on the POI Writers Twitter page and mentioned in an interview that he come up with that for a Bourne movie and was holding on to it until he decided to give it to Root.

That's what I always thought of PoI. I needed my 24 fix and found it in PoI. Just sucks that CBS and the fans couldn't let Nolan/Plageman get through their 7 season vision they originally had.

It really reminded me of the car chase scene in Winter Soldier between Nick Fury and the Hydra agents

Aloha,
Only problem I had with the car chase is that the car Root and HArold was in was not a Battle Wagon. It should have been riddled with bullets in the rear.Yes, there were plenty of bullet holes on the side, but a machine gun is shooting at the rear for several minutes and we don't see the type of damage that should have happened. The back window broke but the car should have been toast.

How about when Root and Shaw were shooting at that Samaritan agent who was hiding behind those plastic water tanks? Shaw even had an assault rifle and those bullets were bouncing off of them. Lol.

She was firing a MP5 SMG, which even though it fires pistol caliber rounds, should have easily been hitting the agent.

About to get into this series on Netflix.

Strap yourself in for a hell of a ride dude...

I started the series about a month ago. I just finished the 4th episode of the second season. I really, really like it. The dynamics between the leads is good, and I like the sense of humor of the show.

Oh, man... It's about to TAKE OFF. Enjoy!

That is what Snow Queen tells me. I have really, reallyenjoyed it so far, so that it gets better is rather exciting. The end game for season 1 and the start of season 2 is top quality stuff imo. And I am a big fan of how they use flashbacks. Kind of like they disappear unless they need them, so they are always valuable and thus always worth paying attention to.

After the finale airs, I'm gonna need HBO to get their s*** in gear as far as Westworld is concerned.

She calls him Harry! :(

Great episode tonight. Loved the returns of the older characters and their reason for being there. Wasn't expecting that at all.

Only 2 episodes left. I'm gonna miss this show so much. :csad:

I loved the stuff with Shaw (especially the park bit), Finch and the machine, but I thought this episode was a bit...underwhelming. On it's own, I'd say it's good, but in the final three of the series... Minus the post-Root stuff, which was the best material of the episode, I feel like I would have a better opinion on this episode if it came earlier in the season. Nice to see some old numbers return though.

Really enjoyed that final reveal about the old numbers. I'd definitely be down for a potential spinoff with those characters!
