I had to sign up just to say how amazing the bike looks!! Every few weeks I search the net the find somthing about the hellbike, imagine how i felt when the guys at the comic shop told me the picture was out!!!!
The whole things looks perfect to me. Now the big question is will it only apear in CG or will there be an actual bike? From what I see the bike is totally possible to fabricate exept for maybe the front forks.
Has anyone else noticed the back fender? It looks like spinal ridges all the way down from the skull to the fender!!!!
This is going to be one SWEEET movie!

It looks like just the forks and flames are CG, the rest is real (there have been comformations of this). Since you joined you might want to check out the other threads also. You might find some more interesting things about the movie.

Diggin' the bike. A lot. Not quite what I had in mind but it's sweet.

Crystal_flame6, I have to admit my GR history is not what it could or should be. Has Caretaker ever carried the GR spirit?

The 90's Hellcycle was cool, but it looked similar to the design for Kaneda's bike from Akira, so that dates it.
Ghost Rider is a product of the 1970's, and even though Johnny Blaze was a stuntbike rider, the image of Ghost Rider blazing down desert highways in a big bad-ass chopper just makes more sense than a zippy little sportbike or a futuristic anime bike.
You're right, but....it is way, way more difficult to bring on screen the stunts GR did usually on '70 with a chopper, without appearing cartonish, because choppers aren't built for easy manouvring. Heck, in GR2 comics he was always on one wheel, jumping and bumping on cars, buildings.(but GR2 bike was in a more urban contest)
But i like the bike, the more time i look at it the more i like it. Mostly because of its general form, very aggressive and dynamic, things many of the choppers i've seen wasn't. THIS chopper, with that "though" fork could really fit well on screen in the "bending physics"(more that "out of them") stunts that are GR trademark...I could even easy picturing it smashing through buildings or cars, like GR2 bike did.

Uhmm BTW, in the photo of the packaged bike, it seems somewhat little... Maybe the bike IS real, but it's not exactly as the "poster", with most of chrome parts addedd in CGI.

Good point. The chopper is indeed more suited for "crashing" stunts instead of things like wheelies and long jumps. I guess that's just one of those compromises that has to made based on whatever bike type was chosen.

I wonder if GR is going to drive up walls like in the comic - that could either be cool or stupid, depending on how it was handled.

Hope you don’t mind me answering this.

Caretaker never carried the GR spirit. When the medallion of power was divided he was given the task of watching over the families held it. I don’t remember the exact issue but Caretaker actually tells the story and they even show a silhouette of the Midnight Sons on horse back. Now that I think about it I should find that issue, I think that one of the horses had horn much like the hellcycle.

Actually, MSJ early already "confirmed" at least a "climb-to-wall-then-jump-through-an-helicopter" stunt, and even "better than that", so climbing walls appears to be a sure thing.
We also know the bike melts and breaks the asphalt, and recently that it jumps, so i'm very positive, especially because all the things we've seen by now are following GR spirit very well.

Goddamnit MSJ just give us a teaser already...I can't take it

I think it's dope, but I was hoping for the nineties cycle...

Agreed. :ghost:
But it fits what I'd been hoping for; a cross between Blaze & Ketch.

i think it looks totally awesome can't believe the detail they have put into it

I voted option 1, but I'm not sure about the chain forks and skull. The rest of the bike is perfect though.

Yeah, I have the same two concerns also, and also i voted #1, because it is awesome despite my apprehension on the skull and chain.

That silhouette you talk of was awesome. When I first saw that was when I first really understood what a Ghost Rider was and how long they've been protecting earth of those who spill innocent blood.

You mean the picture of the horse jumping some obstacle, with the flaming horse "hair", flames from the horse nose, and spiked armour on the front legs?
That was really great!

I voted "It sucks..." but I don't mean I just wanted to be different.
I think its "Tite as Hell"

I think it looks good.....damn good. I'm very impressed and it looks better than what I expected. This has raised GR a few notches on the hype meter for me.

Tite as hell????? UNDERSTATEMENT!!!Awesome?????? UNDERSTATEMENT!!!
Sweet????????? UNDERSTATEMENT!!!

YOU GETTING MY DRIFT HERE GUYS????

BETTER THAN EXPECTED & YES I DARE SAY BETTER THAN ANY OF THE COMIC VERSIONS, THEY MIGHT HAVE RAISED THE BAR ON THIS ONE!!!!
